shooooo you go

Lately my emotions are easily affected. Do not even try to joke with me, cause I might get angry at you. Maybe you don’t meant to, but the fact is you’ve already hurt my feeling. I’m angry. So what?!

And, I like to hold grudge on people for a long time.

If you think you know me, it’s only your thought, not mine.

Quite stress lately. Am just like a timer bomb now. Don’t try to tickle me to explode. I do not wish that to happen, unless you really step hard on my tail.

Simple Plan; Complicated Life

Artist: Simple Plan

Song: Shut Up

There you go
You're always so right
It's all a big show
It's all about you

You think you know
What everyone needs
You always take time
to criticize me

It seems like everyday
I make mistakes
I just can't get it right
It's like I'm the one
you love to hate
But not today.

So shut up Shut up Shut up
Don't wanna hear it
Get out Get out Get out
Get out of my way
Step up Step up Step up
You'll never stop me
Nothing you say today
Is gonna bring me down

There you go
You never ask why
It's all a big lie
Whatever you do

You think you're special
But I know and I know and I know
And we know
that you're not

You're always there to point
Out my mistakes
And shove them in my face
It's like I'm the one you love to hate
But not today.

So shut up Shut up Shut up
Don't wanna hear it
Get out Get out Get out
Get out of my way
Step up Step up Step up
You'll never stop me
Nothing you say today
Is gonna bring me down

Is gonna bring me down.
Will never bring me down.

Don't tell me who I should be
and don't try to tell me what's right for me
Don't tell me what I should do
I don't wanna waste my time
I'll watch you fade away

So shut up Shut up Shut up
Don't wanna hear it
Get out Get out Get out
Get out of my way
Step up Step up Step up
You'll never stop me
Nothing you say today
Is gonna bring me down

So shut up Shut up Shut up
Don't wanna hear it
Get out Get out Get out
Get out of my way
Step up Step up Step up
You'll never stop me
Nothing you say Is gonna bring me down

Bring me down
Won't bring me down
Won't bring me down
Bring me down
Won't bring me down

Shut up Shut up Shut up

Wake me up when September ends

Joke of the Day:

Corporate Lesson

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A rabbit asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. A fox jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story : To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.

Source: The English Online.

To sit freely without any interruption and worry of being "caught", you gotta be the big boss. No one can touch you. No one can blame you.

My fyp presentation is in 3 weeks time, but I still being bugged by the irritating assignments. We hafta move away all the rocks that obstruct our paths before we can fully concentrate on our final destination. So, like it onot, i hafta get rid of the assignments 1st.

Oh ya, I have 2 free movie vouchers that I won from playing Sudoku during a road show. And its getting expired today. Useless tickets.

Such a troublesome sem. *yawn yawn yawn*

101' Dalmatian

No "short white hair marked with dark spots" dogs, the 101 just marked my current article stat :p

Well, some conclusion for World Cup 2006 -- Italy won. But, I'm getting to admire Zidane more and more. Reason? Nah.

Gonna have midterm test next Tuesday (1st Aug) and head home on 4th Aug. Just a short 1' week break before coming back for friends' convocation.

Till next post L-)

I don't know what to call

Well, last night Germany wins over Portugal to attain the 3rd place in the World Cup 2006. A quite happy ending for the host country folks.

My hp's screen suddenly decorating itself with some horizontal and vertical black/color lines. In fact, the lines are increasing day by day. I hope my hp won't be "line crowded" and can stand until I go back to Kuching for some services *pray*

Haven't complete the tasks assigned by my fyp supervisor. Should I watch the World Cup Final tonight? Italy or France?

After this final match, one of the greatest footballer will retire. I'm pretty sure you know about this guy. Yes, he is Zinedine Zidane of France.

Farewell Zidane! May his career ends perfectly with the lifting up of the cup *winkz*

P/s: I thought I saw 4:44pm again :-L Always saw this time, abit eerie :))

Germany out too!

The match between Germany and Italy on 3am, 5th July resulted in the end of Germany's journey in World Cup 2006 when Italy scored 2 goals in the last minute of the additional extra time (aet).

Meaning, Italy is going to the final.

A newspaper report stated that a witch has forecast that Italy will win the World Cup 2006. I don't know how true is this, but looking at Italy now, chances are that they're gonna be the champion or the first runner up. The prediction is 50% correct :p

Later at 3am, Portugal will kick against France. Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Ricardo -- the goal keeper that saved 3 penalty goals in the quater-final match with England.

Anyhow, not gonna watch the match, coz tomorrow morning got lab. Nitezzz!

England & Brazil out!

Last night (11pm, 1st July to be precised), I watched the England vs Portugal match with ry, yx, pyy and hk. The match ended in 0-0 draw and eventually both teams were given half an hour additional time to make their last struggle. However, they still fail to score any goal. Thus, penalty kicks are required.

1st penalty: Portugal scored (Simao); England failed (Lampard). 1 - 0
2nd penalty: Portugal failed (Viana); England scored (Hargreaves). 1 - 1
3rd penalty: Portugal failed (Petit); England failed (Gerrard). 1 - 1
4th penalty: Portugal scored (Postiaga); England failed (Carragher). 2 - 1
5th penalty: Portugal scored (C. Ronaldo) & win. 3 - 1

Initially, it was a bit boring game as both teams were not aggressive enough in finding chances for goals. But, the injury of David Beckham just after half time added some spices into the game. And, to add in more flavours, Wayne Rooney was given a red card after 62 mins for stepping on Carvalho's groin @_! Both strikers were sent off!!!

In the penalties, Christiano Ronaldo scored the winning penalty, sending England team back home.

Meanwhile, the latter match (3am) between Brazil and France "surprised the world a bit bit" when Brazil was defeated by France with 1 - 0. This indicates that Brazil's hope for World Cup 2006 Champion ended here. Samba no longer rules in this World Cup 2006.

To recall, Brazil has also lost to France in 1998 World Cup final. Looks like they are meant to be tough rivals in the football arena :p

Semi-finals will be Germany vs Italy (4th July) and Portugal vs France (5th July). The losers of both matches will be competing for 3rd and 4th place on 8th July; while the winners will meet in the FINAL on 9th July.

Let's open our eyes wide wide and see who's gonna be the winner of World Cup 2006!

P/s: I think Germany will meet France in the final, and Germany will win. Just a prediction hehe *winkz*

In the midst

This is the busiest 1st week ever -- considering it's the 1st week of a new academic year.

We, the final year student are required to decide on our final year project (fyp) title. It's really very depressing for me. I think I'm having post-holiday syndrome.

Like a child, strolling without objective at a strange road. I'm lost.

Wish me luck. I really hope Friday comes faster. So that I can confirm my title and stop worrying.

Haha...hehe...hoho...huhu...huahuahua

My last paper finished just now!!!!

Meaning, I'm going to Genting tomorrow, and back home on Friday, expecting to see some rockets flying ;)

Been away from home since Chinese New Year, 4 months it is. This time my 3 weeks holidays coincide with the Hari Gawai. Not bad.

However, one undeniable fact is that -- this holiday also signifies that one of my leg has been stepped into the Final Year Project, and there is no U-turn.

Delta year ended, Epsilon a.k.a Final year comes in. Ya, welcome.

Sarawak State Election 20th May 2006

First of all, Happy Birthday to our leng zai Dato' Steven ;)) See you in Genting, yeah!

Election Results: BN 62, DAP 6, SNAP 1, Keadilan 1, Independent 1. Further news. Source: TheStar.

It's pretty much of the usual expectation BN won more than 2/3 of the seats, except for some of the areas that the Opposition won -- Batu Lintang, Pending (DAP) & Padungan (Keadilan).

This 3 areas are the main areas which constitute Kuching, and BN lost.

It really surprises me, especially for Batu Lintang case. The BN candidate, Chan Seng Khai has been there since I was in primary school till now, if I remember correctly.

There's never a certainty in politics. You come and go; you rise and fall. It's circle of life.

To those elected, it's time to serve the people right. Don't let your promises going down the drain; else, the next thing you know is you're going down the drain.

Disclaimer: No offence intented to whichever person related.

I'm done with the Engineer & Society. No more "as an engineer, what is your role in conserving the environment while developing the nation bla bla bla" and bla. Holy crap.

Hello my dear lecturer, when you're talking non-stop in lectures, the grasses and trees do not seems to grow out automatically one per word. You know?

Can't believe I managed to endure through this memorizing disaster. It's just like I got nothing better to do than stucking my brain with History of Science & Technology, Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Dark Ages, Renaissance, Roman, Egyptian, Sumerian, Mesopotamia, Babylonian, Code of Hammurabi, Middle Ages, Leornado da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Nicholas Copernicus, Robert Boyle, Robert Hooke, Sir Isaac Newton, China, Indus Valley, world energy resources, development, GNP, GDP, PPP, intellectual property, R&D, technology transfer, reverse engineering, industrial espionage, invention, patent, trademark, industrial design, copyright, TRIPS, OPP1, NEP, IMP1, OPP2, NDP, IMP2, OPP3, NVP, K-economy, Vision 2020, GAIA theory, acid rain, pesticide, chemical weapon, soil erosion, deforestation, United Nations Environment Programme, The Earth Summit, The Kyoto Protocol 1997, ISO 14000, 7th & 8th M'sian Plans, Department of Environment, Environmental Quality Act, MSC, The Bakun Hydroelectric Project, NGO, Energy Star Programme, CLimate Engineering, Characteristics of Modern Profession, Engineering as a Profession, BEM, IEM, Ethics, Relativism, Utilitarianism, Duty Ethics and Rights Ethics, Virtue Ethics, Engineering Ethics, Code of Ethics, Professional Reputation, Conflict of Interest, Loyalty to other members of the profession, endless of case studies ++++++

Now, scared?

Clearly, it's a United Nation of different fields integrated as ONE, and like it or not, we have to EAT everything.

I'm pretty much brain damaged, that's why I can type out so many things without any hesitation. It can served as a list of revisions though >:) Look what I've learnt!!

Off to bed, before I begin to type out other things. *head spinning*

What the heck happened to the network lately??? There, Pak Lah disappointed with telecommunications companies' services ; here, I'm disappointed with MMU network services.

[“Our country is a modern nation, it is not underdeveloped and should not face such disruptions and breakdowns,” he noted, adding that the cooperation from the telcos had been slacking.] *the red words are contradictory* *whistling to the sky*

[Speaking to reporters after visiting the Energy, Water and Communications Ministry here yesterday, Abdullah said taking care of the people’s welfare was of utmost importance, and remedial action had to be taken quickly.] Quoted from the same article above, TheStar .

We are the people you see. So, please take care of our welfare ;)

For online sake, improve the service. Don't let me down lah.

Btw, finished my 2nd paper this morning...hoho. I'm one day closer to GEnting. Ya, I just like to repeat Genting Genting Genting, so what har?! Blekkk >:p

After exam, one thing I'm never dull of doing is -- wrap my notes with the exam question paper and keep it aside. 哪边凉快就闪哪边纳凉去。Wahahahhaha >:)

Hmm...gotta get myself into another bunch of notes already. Ciaoz ~

It's MAY days

A number of things which are beyond my power happened around me lately.

So many that I've even lose my desire to whine.

It somewhat enervates me.

If I can't control the situation, may be I should just let it be and go with the flow.

It might end up a hell lot better than my expectation.

Ya, I think I should stop torturing my own mind with those moronic meaningless troubles.

Reminds me of a Korean song, with lyrics "It's gonna be another day with the sunshine..."

Stroll with me will ya? Along the beautifully blossomed flowers in the garden...what a new day!

Moment of Glory

Remember CCIP? Refer here.

CCIP 05/06 has been crowned The Most Significant Program of 2005/06 during MMU Awards 2006 last night. Hooray!!!

This shall draws a beautiful ending to CCIP 05/06 and leaves memorable moments in everyone's heart.

Revive your heritage, discover others~

Guess what

I'm hired.

Sent in my ITP CV on 30th March. ITP = Industrial Training Program.

Verified it on 3th or 4 April (i guess).

Then on 20th April, accidentally got to know that i'm hired.

Where? Which states? Which company?

I seriously do not know.

Fyi, i've put Penang and Kuching for my location of choices. I might or might not get these places.

Like one of my friend, he didn't put Penang but he got it.

So, i might end up in a mobile center fixing hp everyday. Or formatting pc in a supermarket's computer accesories department every freaking day *quoted from my friends*. Who knows? At the end of the day, i'll have hp or pc phobia i tell ya.

Please do not say "hi" to me if you bump into me at those places. I'll be very piss to see you. Peace~ >:)

Dreams vs Reality

Ideal Case vs Practical Case

Utopia vs The Real World

Post CCIP, i finally got da chance to attend classes, feels like ages since i've last sitted in a lecture room. So, i promise not to skip any class from now on ~this i promise you...

Sang-K at 12am, with 9am class the next morning. This is thing you don't get to do when you're "labelled old". 3 cheers for youngsters hurrays!!

Went for CCIP appreciation dinner, the food and beverages were more than enough, just that the cups were lack :)) Imagine your paper cup turning soft and running out of shape when you're just having your 2nd drinks 8-| Nonetheless, the "throwing Big Bosses into pool" scenes were fantastic though, i just couldn't resist to clap my hands *Oopss!!* I didn't say it, you didn't hear that :-"

This year's CCIP is believed to be the BEST CCIP ever and is one of the most happening event on-campus for 2005/06, judging from the positive comments and vast attentions it got! (Fyi , CCIP is an annual event.)

Rewind how i joined this event, i think i just happened to bump into it through Carol and Sweewon. I'm truly lucky to join such happening event, just like previous Longest Debate and MMUWorlds 2005, simply "langgar tiang & kena" :> Alot of experiences i gained throughout these events, and my Uni life will be a blank if it wasn't for these events.

Come on, put on that charming smile of yours! Face the camera say cheers :)>-

History past week(s)

Been busy with CCIP (Cross Cultural Integration Program) 05/06 from 27th - 31st March.

Monday 27th (A day dedicated to Malay cultures)
Mock Wedding -- golden elegant "pelamin" and got "bunga melor" after blessing the couple

Tradition & Festivities -- "cukur jambul"

Traditional Music, Games, Languages, Fashion, Food... You name it, we've got it!

Tuesday 28th (A day dedicated to Chinese cultures)
Mock Wedding -- foreign bride & groom wearing Chinese traditional wedding costumes which instill cultural integration

Chinese Orchestra Live Performance & Instrumental Orchestra Music

Tradition & Festivities, Games, Languages, Fashion, Food...

**Special thanks to CK and Gan for helping in pushing to get the CHinese Orchestra performance, thanks peeps!**

Wednesday 29th (A day dedicated to Indian cultures)
Mock Wedding -- couple circling the flame 3 times as the finale step of the marry session and audiences throwing rice towards the married couple signified blessings for them

Solo singing performance by Alvin & traditional Bharathanatiyam dance by a lovely pretty girl

Tradition & Festivities, Games, Languages, Fashion, Food...

**A million thanks to Murali for finding his friends Alvin and the lovely girl to perform, you all are great!**

I'm in Music Division, that's why mostly elaborate on music ;)

Thursday 30th (A day dedicated to East Malaysian -- Iban & Kadazan cultures)

Iban Mock Wedding -- couple are blessed by an alive hen

Traditional Iban Music Performance & Group Singing...

Meanwhile, since my duty finished on 29th, thus i went to help out at Carol & Sweewon's Language booth on 30th. At first we're really working at it, writing and pasting etc. Why i need to say "at first"? Coz later we're actually having great fun at the booth. We flied paper aeroplanes all over the place, made paper ship, paper bird, paper "monkey climbs tree"...there's no paper ball coz we forgot how to make it. Once in a blue moon people~

Watch an up-and-down F1 with Sweewon and i really pity Jenson Button. His car transformed into "a rocket" just meters b4 the check point of last lap!!! Not a flying rocket but a static rocket. The car rear part was with smoke and fire, then STOP moving! If i were him, i'll punch my heart hard.

With this, i close curtains.

I love u

Let’s see, how many different languages I can think of…

Malay: Aku cinta padamu

Mandarin: 我爱你 “wo ai ni”

Cantonese: ngoh ngoi lei

Japanese: ais-teru

Korean: sa lang hei

German: ich liebe dich

Tamil: piar hei??

Anyone know French? A typical perspective of mine --- “I love u” in French should be a very romantic word, since Paris is the City of Romance.

Correct me if I’m wrong about any of the languages, and feel free to add in new languages u know ;)

Can you feel it?

Too noisy; too bright, I dislike it.

Cozy-comfort, I like it.

Plus some winter-snow feel, wow, I love it.

None of the above, I hate it.

Know onot?

Outside lecture hall, Sweewon stormed towards me once she spotted me and whispered something into my ear.

I said, “I know ah.” She became :O

I think she expects me to :O but to her surprise it happened the other way round *giggles*

Well, I might not know lots and lots of things, but one thing for sure is --- if I’m interested to know something, I’ll “dig” till the entrance of hell/heaven/lubang cacing until I found it *evil devil grin* >:) huhuhuahaahahahaha

Enough said, may you get what you want when you wish upon a star ;)

Reminder

About 2 weeks ago I had a 48 full-body-blood test, and Tues night the person called me explaining some important notes regarding the report outcome.

He said, “Your low-density cholesterol is abit high. So, don’t take seafood, coconut milk, animal organs etc. Drink more water, eat more vegetables, consume calcium, do exercises. Others are ok, no problem.”

First time ever in my life I have a thought that my body system is so-so-so-not-healthy. And I’m just 21 + 1 yrs old. #_# Why I feel like I’m already 44?

Yesterday afternoon went to Jalan Pasar with friends to buy components for our CanSat (can satellite) project. The roads from SK to Serdang to dunno-where (skip toll road) were jams heavily, some of us fell asleep and awoken and sleep again. It’s not a long long way, but it’s certainly a long long time – we departed around 1:15pm and reached KL at around 3:30pm.

Back here at 6pm and I was like a dead-fish, headache some more. Mayb it’s bcoz I’ve been out there for almost 12 hours, just like the day b4 yesterday. Woke up early at 7 or 8am and out until 6 or 7pm. Anyone would be exhausted no?

Conclusion --- “old”-and-unhealthy people like me are unsuitable to travel long journey ;)

敲敲我的头

烦。。。

Too many important and non-important things mingle around in my mind now. I try not to think about it but I failed. I just couldn’t focus when my eyes are looking at the notes and my hand is writing. My mind is flying away.

I feel like my mind is going to burst if I am not letting it out by any chance. Can I scream here? Can I?

Downtime? I guess it is.

Uncertainty brings about insecurity. I know, my mind is still not mature enough to handle all these.

我不想长大。

Today 5th March, still 9 minutes to go, is Chuen Cheat’s bday; while 4 days ago 1st March was Francis’s bday. Happy Birthday to u 2 Taiko!!

We celebrated for both of them on 2nd March at Gasolin, a restaurant with quite a nice environment. The only imperfection is that the upper floor of the restaurant is smoky, as people are free to smoke there. There’s no chair on the upper floor, people are sitting on the floor, like Japanese style. And, the lights there only “highlight” those white colors thingy. So, if you wana looked outstanding there, just wear white from head to toe lah ;)

Also, the food & beverages there are named with some creative thoughts. It will attract your attention for sure. Eg. Drink called “Love from/of a stranger”, and the title for shake is “Shake Your Body”. Interesting? Foods mostly comprise of Western delicacies, such as spaghetti and chicken/lamp chops.

After our meals, some of us proceed to play 积木 (forgot what it calls in English) and 2 Big (Cho Tai Di), others being audiences :D

It’s an enjoyable night indeed. Will post up some photos when I get them. Nitezzz…

Frighten

Wednesday, went to take my spec after my class at 1pm, with a rented car.

After filling petrol, our car suddenly being stopped by a car of 4 or 5 Indian guys. They wore dark glasses, gold watches, spiky dyed hairs --- which we (Sweewon, Mingyih, Hanlun, Chuencheat and me) had a bad feeling about it.

Actually I’ve noticed their car following us starting from the main gate of our campus, coz I was driving slowly behind a bus but they didn’t cut off, which made me wondering. In addition, they all were wearing dark glasses, and it didn’t look quite right to me. Then, when I drove into the petrol station, they followed closely and stopped behind us. After I looked at them, they drove off to the other side of the petrol station. I felt strange why they didn’t want to fill petrol and drove there.

Right after we drove by, they straight away followed from behind. I felt eerie and ask Sweewon they all why those guys were following us. Then those guys cut off and gave hand signal asking us to stop at the road side.

One of them showed us a card and told us that “this car owner owed the bank a few months dunno what” quite fiercely. We explained that we’re renting this car and gave them the car owner’s hp. They called him and after a lengthy talk, they finally let us go with a “sorry.”

What a “sorry” to compensate our mental loss. I just felt that we’re very “soi – unlucky – bernasib sial” to encounter this 0.000001% incident.

When I reached Alamanda car park, I break a stupid record by having to take 3 parking tickets b4 I can entered successfully. And the 3rd attempt was succeeded with a close-to-get-hit by the bar and a “yeekk” sound of the tyres. As a result, all of the passengers were terrified and decided to change driver during the way back :p This is me, never fail to provide new surprises to my friends every time I’m driving ;) The 2 extra tickets are with me now, gonna give ‘em to Yeejen and Chuencheat as souvenirs, hehe.

All I can say is --- life is full of surprises which we least expect.

Gone it is...

After Salsa class on Monday, I hung my spec at my pocket and walked towards hostel. When I got inside the mini mart, suddenly I realized that my spec is gone. GONE!

Walked back the same path twice but found nothing, not even tiny broken lens. Just plain nothing.

I was like, considering myself a “genius” in the sense that I can danced Salsa until my spec also danced away +_+

Hopelessly, yesterday I have no choice but to buy a new spec, will be collecting it tomorrow. While for the moment am using my old old spec.

Awkward

Last Friday presentation ~

*Clap clap clap* 5 ppl went out to the front.

“Eh, the USB port is behind leh, cannot insert the pendrive.”

Someone came to help, but computer cannot detect the pendrive @_@

“Got upload to email? Oh thank god. What?! Cannot sense keyboard, cannot type. Adoi. Lecturer and friends helped, finally can type. Login ~ ~ Wait a minute…no attachment??!! #_# no eyes see loh.”

In the end, our presentation is procrastinated.

P/s: Our presentation finally succeeded this morning. It’s been a long way from creating, editing, finalizing … to presentation preparing.

lately

After a badminton session last Friday, my throat felt very irritated. I can’t even fall asleep in fact I’m very tired, just kept on woke up to drink water.water.water. However, in the end I still catch flu. This is the normal sequence. My illness always starts at sore throat à flu à cough. Terrible. Horrible. Vegetable. (A quote from Yinghan)

I guess the reason being is I drank too little water while I sweat a lot during the badminton session. And I bath before my sweats dried (evaporation). My poor nose is being rubbed off some of its skins due to excessive dryness :( Painful.

Talk about water, recently the water in our hostel is yellowish. I’m not very daring to drink it. Who knows what it contains. *eewwwww* No choice but have to spend extra money to buy water.

Just now went for a 1 hour Salsa dance class. It’s fun! And it can be considered as an exercise too. Well, you move your shoulder, you move right, you move left, you move back, you move front, you turn 360 degree clockwise...woohoo
Just imagine.

This coming Friday we’ll have Engineer & Society subject presentation. Won will present while I’ll be clicking mouse wahahahhaha ;)) I haven’t prepared my report part yet. Guess I’ll do it later in the afternoon, coz needa compile it tonight.

Gotta stop here, else tomorrow won’t be able to get up for 8am class.
Gute Nacht.

Hiiiiiiiii

Been back here for almost 2 weeks. Didn’t find the mood to update my blog until now. Yeah, lame.

My CNY celebration was plain and simple, as usual. Do some visiting on the 1st and 5th and that’s it. Me and Sweewon met with Yungyaw and Regina on 6th for a long-lost gathering. Had a wonderful chat indeed.

My bro’s friends came to our house for mahjong-ing. And, of course I won’t miss the fun *wink* When they played, we watched. When they left, we filled the seats and played. I would get addicted if I wasn’t coming back here :p We played 4 kaki and also 3 kaki. The rules are quite confusing sometimes, but it does help to kick our brains to work actively.

Oh yeah, I’ve straighten my hair on the day I went back to Kuching, as I felt like trying something new à I know this rebonding technique has been popular for several years already, but it is still NEW to me and my hair. I’m quite satisfied with the outcome, just wondering when the effect will be gone.

Come to talk about NEW THINGS, last year I dyed my hair; this year I straighten it. What about next year? Still don’t have any plan in mind, but when the time comes, I’m sure it will appear. I forgot since when I have a belief that I should attempt different things when I’m eligible/young enough to do it, so that I’ll have all the experiences that can be smiled/laughed/worth remembered at when I look back years later.

Lately Cyberjaya has been visited by sudden rains frequently. It’s usually in the afternoon. I’m very reluctant to go out on rainy days, as the road/path will be filled with water, and I can hardly walk without my shoes getting wet. Also, I kept on wondering and worrying when I’ll PK-ing due to slippery of my shoes and the floor. Thus I watch every step of mine carefully.

Good night.

An early Happy Birthday!

Later at 8am I’m going to KLIA. My flight back to Kuching is at 9:45am.

Before I forget, I just wana shout it out loud, an early Happy Birthday To You, my dearly blog. You’re gonna be 1 year old in 3 days time (20th January) my baby boy. Muakkssss :-*

Gotta have some sleep/rest now.

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!!! May this new Doggie year bring you prosperity, wealth, health and wisdom!

Auf Wiedersehen from me und Guten Flug to myself, sweewon, carol & yinghan hehehe.

Don't ask why!

Last night finished my German final exam paper. Gosh! It’s extremely difficult and out of my expectation. Before this, I’ve referred to the past year, and those papers were like “eating rice” to us. However, last night paper was “constipation” to us. We look at the paper and :O Two hours later, we all were like :(

There were a hell lot of questions, and a i-still-dun-understand-eventhough-i-look-and-look-again-and-again comprehension. As far as I’m concerned, I didn’t offended my German lecturer leh, how come she created such a killer paper eh??

Since I was a toddler, I used to ask all those W-questions (Why, Where, What, Who, How etc). My grandma and parents were “scared” of me, and they said I’m “jiao geh” = bird’s teeth; always chi chi chuk chuk nonstop asking this and that. Making them headache.

But, in this German, those Verb Conjugations, Grammar rules, vocabulary and so on are sometimes unquestionable, i.e. you have to accept it as what it is and memorize it by hard. Don’t ask why, coz the lecturer won’t know as well, and I bet the only person who knows would be the person who created it. So, just “swallow” whatever you can.

Coincidentally, same situation like this also happened when I was studying for my Advanced Electromagnetic Theory. There were times where the equations or a value just suddenly appeared without me knowing why. Due to lack of time to consult lecturer, I just memorize loh. What to do leh?

Sometimes life resembles similar situation as well. Don’t ask why you’re born into this world; don’t ask why you’re a male/female; don’t ask why you’re this race or that race etc, coz you’ll never know.

Life is simple and short. Ohh don’t ask me why.

My New Year Eve with Ninja Turtles

I was having my German midterm, dialog presentation and oral Q&A on Saturday, 31st Dec 2005. It started at 12pm and ended around 3:30 ++. Of course we did have 2 or 3 breaks in between.

After the test, immediately Sweewon and I decided to go to Alamanda at 4:15pm. The reason behind this is – if we were to stay longer in our room, we will fail to resist the killer-attraction of our darling beds, which keep on flirting with us. Ohh…And I won’t be able to get up within 4 hrs as I slept very little that "morning".

We met with Carol and Hanni in the bus later, and headed to ERL station then changed bus to Alamanda --- RM1 from Cyberjaya to ERL; RM0.50 from ERL to Alamanda. It’s quite cheap.

We stormed to the Food Court in the first place to get our stomachs filled.
Then…out of our conscious, we were at the Barbie Doll’s area. We spent a long time looking and touching and discussing about most of the Barbies there. Then only we proceeded for some window-shopping.

“Eh, Ninja Turtles!!” *I was almost jumping up and down*
We saw Ninja Turtles at the stage near the Barbie Doll’s area. Some kids are taking photos with them. I was like --- I also want to take photo with them. But, they’re gone in a while. So I was :( However, an announcement by the MC that the Ninja Turtles will be coming back at 7pm made my day wahahahhaha!!

We were down at the Barbies place once again, wasting time waiting for 7pm.
At 7pm, 4 ordinary black ninja’s cosplays [the bad guys] came out onto the stage and performing various fighting styles. Next, the 4 genuine Ninja Turtles (Purple, Red, Blue and Orange) appeared to fight the bad ninjas.

Before that, I forgot to mention, in front of the stage were a bunch of kids sitting on the floor, and behind were their parents. The four of us were the weird scene there. Can you imagine four 20+ girls standing among the kids + parents, looking anxiously at the stage, and laughed crazily at the scenes when Ninja Turtles defeating the bad one while the kids were cheering happily at their heroes??? The bad guy actually fell or flied out even though the Ninja feet tak kena his body :))

After the fighting, the Orange Ninja suddenly merajuk and sit on the floor, refused to response to the Red Ninja who was comforting him. Then the song “Kungfu Fighting” was played, but the Orange Ninja still unhappy. So, the MC said, “Maybe he doesn’t like the song, let’s change to another song.” “That’s the way aha aha I like it aha aha…” was played and the Orange Ninja got up and dance. All 4 of the Ninjas were dancing *aha aha*

Merajuk-ing

~ That's the way aha aha i like it aha aha ~

Next was of course the photo taking session. The MC was shouting sth like this “Come on kids, if you wana take photos with this Ninja Turtles, just come up to the stage! bla bla bla.” I was like, errrr….kids, I’m not one, I will be very paiseh if I was to step onto the stage. Meanwhile, Hanni, Carol and Sweewon were trying to convince, or push me to walk towards the stage. When we were at the left side of the stage, all of sudden the MC came to us and said (in Mandarin), “If you want to take photo, go to the other side to catch them for photos lah.”

Immediately we run to the other side and manage to catch the Purple and Orange Ninjas, muahaahhaaha. Then, we went back to the MC.

Mr. MC: Managed to catch them?
Hanni & I: Yes *nodding our heads*
And this time around, hanni and I requested to take a photo with him.
Mr. MC: Why? I’m not Ninjas also. *with some shocked reaction*
His friend: Ask you take then you take lah! (in Cantonese)

Mr. MC that helped us :)

Additionally, I reckoned that the MC can speak fluently in English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese. Wow!

Done with shopping, we went to eat cakes and chit-chatting.
Took another few photos before going out of Alamanda. It was 11pm then.

Presenting the Red Leaves...

We waited for bus but none of them want to take us. The other 4 girls who were having the same fate as us told us that the buses will only take people after the countdown. What the…We decided to called someone and the first candidate was Zhao :p When we knew he will be coming to pick us up in 15 minutes time, we were so touched =)) Thank you very much Zhao, you’re so nice. I'll remember this for the whole year *hiak hiak* only. Just kidding.

So, this is my New Year eve with Ninja Turtles and the fong-fei-kei buses. Definitely better than last year!

How’s yours?

Worry worries

Suddenly, I felt I am being stressed upon a lot of things.
I feel anxious and helpless.

Ooh...helpless :(

I’m worry that our CCIP Music Division couldn’t get enough sub-comms.

I’m worry that our division cannot produce any outcomes.

I dunno what to update on this coming meeting.

Am I the only one who worry that much bout this?

And, I’m worry about my German midterm on this Sat.

Also, I’m worry bout my final exams which are in less than 2 weeks time.

Just plain worries!

ANgelic side

Sometimes, we're frustrated by something that done by somebody. That time being, we just feel like scold them on their face(s). But it's just a thought afterall.

Nevertheless, come to think about it, i think the best way to not frustrated ourself too much would be -- try to think of the angelic side of them, and of the goodness that they have done to you or others. Then, we will feel better and have a feeling that they are not that bad at all.

But, if you couldn't think of the goodness they've ever done, try to search through other people. If still none, then i don't think they will be in your thoughts any more, no?

There's a saying in Chinese which means something like this ---- learn the goodnesses of others, and treat their weaknesses as an alarm for you not to do anything similar.

Well, try to look in different perspectives, we'll see a more beautiful world, and soul :)

Today in History

One year ago on today, Tsunami -- a natural disaster caused by the earthquake beneath the ocean -- hit the coast of Aceh, Sri Lanka, Phuket Island etc. The monstrous wave destroyed everything near the seaside and caused 200,000 ++ of casualties. The damages it brought were prolonged -- even until today. Many were still homeless.

Today, many places all over the world are mourning over the disaster's anniversary, and people are grieving over their loved one who had died. Refer Mourners mark tsunami anniversary for details.

Let's mourn 1 minute in loving memory of the dead. May them rest in peace.

Narnia in TGV KLCC

Well, continue from previous post, we're heading to KLCC from Times Square. We reached TGV at 6pm whereas the show was at 6:10pm. So, we rushed to bought our tickets. There's only 7 tickets left if i'm not mistaken. We actually managed to slip the popcorn from IMAX into the TGV :)) Coz the so called "regular" popcorn was not-so-regular and we can't finished it. Ya, it might be regular if compare to King KOng's size :p

The golden Christmas tree in KLCC. You see, i'm aligning the top and bottom view of the Christmas tree so that it can transform into a complete one :> There're 2 reindeers accompanying the Christmas tree. Will post a close up look of the reindeers......... after these 2 photos :))

The famous Rudolph the red nose reindeers -- but i fail to see any red nose here though.

The other side of the Christmas tree --- the Kids area. Ya, adult (like us) is PROHIBITED! Mummy.....waawawawawawa :((

P/s: All the photos above were taken after the movie.

Now, come to talk about The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. I've been craving to watch this movie half year ago when it started its advertiments and trailer on TV *wow* I like to see exotic creatures in it that are non-existing in the real world. They speak English too!!!!! Eg. The Centaur (half man half horse) & the Faun (half man half deer). And, i love snow! There're plenty of snow scene in the movie.

Besides, i admire the wise Aslan the almighty lion king in the movie too. He has the wisdom and kindness which made him a trustworthy King of Narnia. Also, the beavers are super cute ;)

See, we watched 2 movies in a day. Crazy? I say no. Coz this is not the first time i did this hehehhe. In 2003, I watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [starring Sean Connery and others] & 大只佬 [starring Andy Lau and Ceceilia Cheung] in one day too. And not to mention, i went for LOTR marathon *yeah i have the cert* 12 crazy hours i bet cha.

With this, i'm off to perform my duty for today.

King Kong in IMAX

On 23th Dec, we (sweewon, hanlun, chuencheat, me) went out for movie -- King Kong -- at IMAX, Berjaya Times Square. Mingyih went to KL with us but she didn't join us for movie.
The lift there were very very slow, and we're in a hurry. So, we ran up the elevator for 10 floors *whew* It's tiring.

After getting the tickets, we sit there waiting while took some photos. The photo below was took in front of the "rainbow wall -- i named it" at the entrance to the cinemas. Swee won did took pictures of the theme park there, head over to have some glances.

I can say that King Kong is kinda touching movie, just like its predecessors in old times. Hey I watched King KOng since i was a kid. This time around, the leading actress is Naomi Watts (known as Ann Darrow in the movie -- pretty & attractive) , while the leading actor is Adrien Brody (known as Jack Driscoll in the movie -- a charming guy). And of course, the KIng Kong. Besides, the character Carl Deham (a filmmaker in the movie) is very annoying, i just feel like punching his shrewd face, esp his eyes. He's the one that deserve to die the most, but he lives -- bad guys live longer eh?

Anyway, below is the Christmas tree in Times Square, photo taken after the 3 hrs movie.

The lighting decorations that present the Christmas feels, in Times Square as well. Can you see the crowd? Yes, there's alot of people.
Next, we're heading to KLCC for the nect movie :> hehehheehhe... We certainly know how to enjoy our life no?

Christmas 2003-2004-2005

Merry merry Christmas to all!

Christmas 2003 @ KLCC [L-R: Yeejen , Swee Won , me]

Christmas 2004 @ KLCC [me & Hanni]

Christmas 2005 @ KLCC [me :D]

So, we "unintentionally" took photos with the 33metres almighty Christmas tree in KLCC as background for 3 years straight! :O

I really feel time flies from the tip of my fingers without me noticing it. It's been 3 years! Not a short period. I've even turned from the 18 green-apple age to the i-can-vote-legally age. You get me don't you?

Oh gosh, i feel so old :(

Well, the 3 photos are just for you to make some comparison when you're bored.

Do you noticed that the Christmas tree's decoration are the same for year 2003 & 2004? It's in purple color. Whereas year 2005 is the elegant shiny golden decoration. I like it.

Btw, do you noticed also that my shirt for year 2003 & 2005 are the same? *blush* It's an coincidence OK!! Coz i didn't expect to take picture in KLCC initially. Do you believe me? I hope you do.

I still have 2 or 3 posts in mind. SO do wait for the updates. Cheers!

Happy New Year peeps!

The usual me

I’ve been lazing around these few days.

Wasting my time like none of my own business.

Though I keep on reminding myself to study study and study, but it’s effortless.

I still feel like sleeping whenever I’m in my room, or when I’m touching my notes.

It’s such an uncontrollable situation, which I should stop it and find back my self-disciplined self.

Well, think I should kill the sleeping @ lazy worms within me, and perhaps grow some hardworking worms inside.

Let’s fong chiong siong ngan and see whether I can transform myself throughout this trimester.

Wait for the outcome on the end of this trimester ;)

Sharing moment

Owhh, it’s such a boring Saturday. Hmm…I look up side down, left and right, here and there…Think! Ohh yes! And hence I took out all the necessary “things” and photographed them.

Come come, have a look at what I’ve received for my birthday this year ;)

Ray, Swee won, Alister, Yinghan and Carol gave me Nicholas Teo’s 张栋梁 latest CD, with the title track called “只在乎你 dearly love you”. Another highlighted song is 日日夜夜 (Every Day and Night). I had a meal at The WestWood restaurant in Kuching with Swee won, Ray and Alister when they past the CD to me that night.

The CD front view

The CD rear view

Also, alongside with the CD are two paper files printed with Nicholas’s photos, 5 cute badges and 4 posters, which were nicely placed inside an elegant pink color plastic bag.

The 5 badges

See the pink bag under the five badges? It doesn’t look good in the picture, but it certainly does in reality. Photograph can be deceiving :)

Now, let’s look at the wooden handmade comb from 谭木匠 which Hanni and other friends gave me. You know what?! This comb came exactly the right time coz my ex-comb has gone missing and another new one is a bit damaged :p

Notice the words “I like…decoration” under the comb? It’s actually the bottom part of the pink plastic bag. Am just putting the bag as a background for the wooden comb :D

One thing I’d like to highlight is that among the posters, there’s one printed with Power Rangers. I was surprised, stunned, and laughed my head off when I first opened it. Coz I’m already too old to own a Power Rangers product :p I do know that.

Next, here are pictures taken during the pre & post-birthday celebration at the TGI Friday’s, 1 Utama on 9th Sept. Why pre & post? Its bcoz our birthdays vary through August to October respectively.

6 of us cutting a big birthday cake.

6 cute little icons [they were sugar made] which were on top of the cake earlier.

L-R: The Garfield cat, tiger (mine), panda, rabbit, elephant & cow. Btw, do you notice that the Garfield's left eye is gone? ya, it's accidentally eaten =)) shhh, don't tell ohh!

Okay, lastly, I would like to dedicate a million thanks to the above mentioned friends for giving me those memorable moments and nice gifts. Appreciate it, you guys rock!

Hey ya!

Hallo! Wie geht’s?
Yup, I took German Level 1 as co-curricular subject this trimester. The phrases above mean “Hello! How are you?”

Tell you something, my German lecturer is a lovely German lady woh :p very tall as well. But due to some contracts problem, she’ll leave us in 2 weeks time, waaaa wa waaaa :(( Please please don’t go….I’ll miss her.

Alright, let’s recap some events happened during my holidays in Kuching. Of course, I did sleep and eat like a good baby kid. I watched “Corpse Bride”, an animated movie which emphasizes on unbounded love, owhhh…

By the way, Jia Xu paid a visit to Kuching during the holidays :> Then we five ladies went to The Cat Museum and took some, errr, stupid photos?? You figure it out.

~The Cat Ladies~

We did step our foot at the Water Front as well, and enjoy the riverbank views there, including the views at the opposite river bank. Oh yah, we looked at some uncles fishing for prawns and fishes there :D

Also, we (the five of us and a former tutor) went to a “house like” restaurant and order some drinks and chat through. Then, we were brought to the Little Hong Kong --- actually is the river bank view we saw from the Water Front. There’s a lot of food stalls and the houses are decorated with colorful bulbs due to the Hari Raya festival. Next, we proceeded to the outside of Astana. The surrounding view is beautiful, but we didn’t spend much time there.

Emmm, two little doggies become my family members during the holidays. Both are males. One of them --- Chu Chu is very clever and naughty, but he knows how to act so that you won’t punish it :)) Another one --- Ter Ter is not that naughty and more quiet. However, a bad news regarding Chu Chu’s death broke half of my heart on 19th Nov when I’m already in Cyberjaya. It’s sad that I can’t see it grows up :( May he rest in peace!

After coming back to Cyberjaya, me and friends went to watch the “Harry Potter And The Goblets Of Fire” on 18th Nov (Friday) at GSC MidValley. Well, I’m satisfied with the ups and downs in the movie, it attracts attention. Mayb it’s because I didn’t read the book, that’s why didn’t have any expectation, thus can’t compare :p

Okay, got to go now. Tschüss! (Bye! in German)

The Myth

You gotta listen to the theme song of the movie The Myth -- "Endless Love". This song is very romantic and touching, though abit 凄凉。 Might be another legend after "Romeo & Juliet" and "The Butterfly Lover 梁山伯与祝英台".

The uniqueness of this song is undoubtedly where Jackie Chan 成龙 duets with Kim Hee-Seon 金喜善 in both Mandarin and Korean.

From the song, it can be perceived that their love last for thousand years and they still wait for each other in different time dimensions(worlds) despite all obstacles.

I'm gonna watch this movie after my exam, for sure. The song has triggered my inquisitiveness to ask for more. A very successful promotion, indeed :)

Btw, tomorrow or later in the afternoon, me gonna sit for the last paper for this trimester. Master Yoda: "May the force be with you, my young Jedi"

Then, hu la hu la here I come my dear holidays!

P/s: Will upload the song lyrics if time allowable :D

Out of our mind

Just now…err…9 to 10 pm to be precise, SweeWon let me and YingHan watched a music video clip. It’s all about “hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha…” nonstop by four little girls, while shaking their heads. In between, I reckoned there’re 2 cold jokes:

1. “Why you’re taking my toothbrush? Do you know that taking other’s toothbrush to brush teeth is very impolite?” “I didn’t brush my teeth; I’m just brushing the shoes.”

2. “I like Maths class the most.” “Why?” “Bcoz our teacher always take leaves.”

I bet those girls dunno what the hell they are “hahahhahaha” for also. In fact, while watching the video, I’m worried that when their heads are gonna shaken off accidentally.

Due to the triggers of this music video clip, the 3 of us started to singing out loud, laughing out loud at each other, talking whatever craps that were in our mind, jumping up and down….until the guard came to knock on our door and slapped us on our foot. Then for sure we’re very angry and slapped the guard back, tied her up with bed sheet and locked her in our cupboard.

K lah, am just fooling around. There was no guard wahahahhaha >:p

We then sang happily, to name but a few: Nah si gua uh ji pa ban (If I have 1 million), Ai pia cha eh yia (Struggle only can win), the “hahahhahahhhaha…”, primary school’s songs – elephant nose song/frog song, 上海滩 “浪…奔……浪…流……”, etc etc I forgot others.

Actually, it was me and Yinghan singing most of the time, coz SweeWon dunno Hokkien, and she’s too stingy to share her lovely voice >:) Just joking, she’s 斯文有礼 and still can keep her cool in such a disastrous environment, whereas me and Yinghan lost our head d :p Sorry ahh Yinghan, I didn't meant to tell the truth *sob sobb*, but I'm a good girl :"> hehe

Frankly, this is one of the good ways to release stress, esp during this deadly tensed study-exam week. I think we had in one way or another laughed out our tension feeling.

I shall take my leave for now *bow* *waves hand*

P/s: Good girl tells no lies, except some white lies, ahemmm...

What more can I say huh?

This freaking year I’ve encountered certain new you-would-never-want-to-meet experience of staying in the girls’ hostel, which I’ve never met in the past 2 years.

Firstly, there’s someone pouring down water from the window above my floor and hit my table, my monitor near my window. I can’t move away my table coz it’s fixed. Damn it! I think that girl has a bird brain. And when the brain commands “Hey you moron, go on, go on, pour the water down from the window. Yeah, that’s the way it is, brilliant girl!”, then she would pour the water without any procrastination. Poor thing, being control by her bird brain.

Then, just now in the dawn, there’s another moron with prawn brain staying below my floor blast her speaker so loud that the whole Cyberjaya campus can hear. Sounds unbelievable? You better do. Actually the sound came up to our room window through her window. It’s some kind of video clips with Ang Moh cracking jokes that I would definitely not appreciate it in the middle of the night. So, can you imagine how loud that girl is opening her speaker?! Swee Won did go down and knocked her door, but you know, that moron’s prawn brain demanded that moron to ignore and keep on rocking with the loud sound.

Come on, why there’re increasingly so many inconsiderate humans? For god sake, please think for others lah.

P/s: Please forgive me for insulting the bird and the prawn O:-) *angelic look*

Last Week Preview

As expected, I spent most of my time in the labs again.

My 1st PCB board isn’t that satisfying – there’re a lot of small disconnections, which have to be re-connected manually by using the soldering iron. This happened due to my inexperienced first-time PCB fabrication, can’t expect much from me, right?!

So, I decided to fabricate another PCB. This time around, the lab technician was annoyed and lazy (I’m telling nothing but the truth *cross ma heart muahahhahahaha*) already.
He asked us to “sek ji kei” a.k.a. EAT OURSELVES!!

He helped us to laminate our PCBs (there’re a few of us, including a final year student) and we were on our own from there onwards. Then, he just went “kai kai”. We proceeded with the UV light – placing a layer of photoresist on our PCBs. We’re troubled by how many seconds we should put for the photoresist thingy :”> *maklumlah kan?*

Next, we went on with the Developer Tank and the Etcher Tank. These 2 processes required a lot of attention and patient. We had to keep on “nurturing” our PCBs from time to time, worrying that the PCBs might over-develop or over-etch. If either of this happens, then the PCBs are declared KO already! Which means -- you have to START EVERYTHING all over again! Gosh, imagine that *head spinning with full kinetic energy*

Fortunately we didn’t blow up the two tanks *giggles heeheeheeheee* It contains some acidity chemical substances, don't play play!

Finally, we’re ready for the Stripper process to remove the photoresist on our PCBs. We just throw our PCBs into the Stripper Tank and went for lunch. Oops, not that we didn’t care about it anymore, but this last process took time. So, be patient lah, go have a cup of coffee or something lah!

Went to get my PCB at the afternoon. Although it still has some “weaknesses”, nevertheless I’ll “sayang” it with all my heart, just like my own child (but hey I have no child okay :)))

How I “sayang” it? I drilled holes on it…to put components’ legs mah, hehe. Then I solder it under an extremely hot temperature. No abuse here.

At last, my Infrared MODEM was born! There’s too many sweet & sour in the producing of this MODEM, which I could only cried it to myself :((

Now…The time for Basic Law midterm came – 26 August 2005 (last Friday).

After the test, we’re in to the PCB evaluation today (Monday) afternoon, followed by the Intro to Power System midterm just now.

Luckily my PCB can work *whew* However, I was very disappointed with the test just now. None of the question which I’m 100% sure knows how to do.

But, now I have to look forward – tomorrow I got a morning lab session. Next, there’s a very stressful assignment to be submitted on coming Friday, while another due on coming Monday.

K lah, I’ve blurted out briefly the “4 seasons’ tastes” I’ve gone through all these while --- sweet, sour, spicy, salty…

It must have been an awfully “delicious” meal! Wana get some try?? ;;)

I moved to lab(s)

Some brief fresh back about this whole week:

Monday afternoon 2-5pm -- went to Project Lab 1 for Mini Project, as usual.

Tuesday morning 9-12noon -- DTL1 at Telecommunications Lab

Tuesday afternoon 2pm onwards -- heading to PCB lab to fabricate the PCB; waited there doing nothing until at about 4pm. Guess what?! The lab technician brought us great news -> COME TOMORROW, coz he can’t handle so many “businesses” at one time. Feeling a bit annoyed.

Wednesday morning 9am onwards -- sit patiently inside the PCB lab until 10:15am for our turn to start fabricating our PCB. Can’t complain!

Wednesday 2pm -- went to PCB lab again to get our ready-PCB. Didn’t get the chance to drill though.

Thursday 9am -- Again, crawled tiredly to PCB lab for PCB holes drilling. Waited until 10 something still didn’t get a touch on the drilling machine, what an irony!! Aggravated and left the lab.

Thursday 2-4:30pm -- EPM1 at Energy System Lab.

Friday 9-12noon -- went for Mini Project at Project Lab 1, as usual, again.

I’ve already moved my bed and my pillows to the lab.
Ohh, my home my dear lab(s) *puke blood*

Darn, this is a so freaking ill experience of spending my whole week in the labs.
Bitting nails…*labs phobia*

Guess this horrible thing close the curtain here? I can assure you it’s a no no no!

I can foresee that – my next week will be spent in the labs as well.

Curse’em…

Acquitted

Finally…

We are freed from the “Prison of Haze” in Cyberjaya, thanks to the mercy of the WIND that blows it away.

The wind is definitely a fair “judge” that know we’re innocent and we don’t deserved all those haze. Thus, his Honour decided to do us justice.

Although the initial intention is to pray for the rain, but instead came the almighty wind! But who cares?! The objective is identical – chase away the “intruder from Indonesia” – HAZE!! *punch punch*

Wow, fresh air, fresh air…outside my windows *deep deep breaths greedily*

It feels so good! Never better in fact ;)

Haze Updates

Putrajaya recorded an Air Pollution Index of 224 at noon today, and 337 at 5pm. The situation is so worse that the visibility is very very poor, and we have to breathe in the smoke and haze, not oxygen.

Click for Air Pollution Index nation wide by TheSTAR online

This virtually brings me back to many years ago, 1997, in Kuching. That time Kuching was experiencing the Air Pollution Index of 600 over, and the residents were nearly evacuated. I was in Form1 then, the school was closed for one week. I can remember vaguely that when I looked out from my house, it was like the clouds had landed on the earth, the surrounding was all white, hardly saw anything.

Oh ya, our University’s President issued this announcement this evening:

Leave for Cyberjaya Campus

Assalamualaikum/Good Day,

Dear VPs/Deans,

This is to inform that I am declaring the Cyberjaya Campus to be closed for two days (11th & 12th August 2005) because of the worsening haze condition. The API index is now 197, 3 points below the critical level. The unhealthy level is 100-200. Above 200 is critical. All staff and students are hereby given leave for the 2 days.

The Melaka Campus shall operate normally.

Kindly take note.

This news goes around the whole campus with a speed of light; forwarded messages in YM were unstoppable.
We’re discussing whether our Communication Networks’ midterm test on today 8-9pm was cancelled or not, until the coordinator of the subject posted a message:

By: XXX Date Posted: 10-08-2005

Midterm Exam : Midterm exam tonight is still ON!!!!!

I bet he was getting mad at those emails that flooded his mail box and non-stop calls that bombing his office at that instant :p Poor thing, he must be very busy answering questions then.

After the test, we came back and found out that all midterm exams which fall on these 2 days were postponed. It means -- our Introduction to Power System’s midterm on 11th August & Basic Law’s midterm on 12th August were procrastinated to latter dates.

Starting from tomorrow until Sunday, I’ll have 4 days holidays.
Hopefully the haze won’t get worsen any further, coz it’s really unbearable!

Involuntary Suicide

Lately Cyberjaya is being loved by the irresistible hazeeeeee!
Ya right, lovely…

WHy irresistible?? Simply bcoz we can’t sweep it away b-( Super-duper-darn stupid “intruder” hhpfffff >:p

This brother haze is causing the surrounding seems like full of fog. You know, just like in Genting. In fact, it’s smoke that can kill. It affects our breathing system, making us prone to running nose. My eyes even felt pain, thanks to the haze that is filling each and every centimeter, milimeter, micrometer (you name it) areas in Cyberjaya.

I bet if we X-ray our lung, it’ll look like a piece of charcoal inside our body, hehe…

Some more, the temperature is extremely HOT…See, we have to bear with the smoky air, the hot days & nights, the tons of exams & assignments, the boring lectures, the foods…Ahhh, I lost count.

The haze is killing us slowly. Involuntarily. So, please don’t be surprised if you bump into news saying “Cyberjaya’s resident(s) died of sucking-in excessive amount of HAZE”.

Beware! The silent irresistible killer is hunting around *evil devil grin*
