Post-ITP Syndrome

I’m starting to miss my working life already. I’m so sad.

Kept thinking, how am I going to cope back to study life?

Still remember when the ITP is starting, I’m worrying bout all the possibilities that might happen. Think too much – my weakness.

But after 12 weeks working there, I can say I’m kinda attached to the company environment and people already – although we didn’t talk that much lah :)) Just being used to them. Usually it’s only me and Sharon talking in the office :”> Others talk for work, we talk for fun! Hahahahhaha, just kidding – of course we did talk for work loh. :p

Oh ya…if you’re wondering who sh is before this *who kept appearing in my itp entry :))*, the equation: sh = Sharon! Sharon, if you read this, don’t think of how to whack me ohhh muahahhaha.

Me and Sharon’s daily MUST DO routine is to drink a cup of coffee every morning and afternoon. That’s our daily dose – missed it and we’ll keep yawning. Eh Sharon, next sem (which starts this coming Mon) we should find some time to have a cup or two of coffee together loh ;) “Nescafe panas, kurang kurang kurang manis…” :)) Shouted by the mamaks when they saw the two of us coming.

Next, I would like to thank our boss, our supervisor and a programmer for helping us out these 3 months. Thanks for hiring us and teaching us all the valuable knowledge! (They may not be viewing this but I just wana say it out.) Once gain, thanks for everything! We actually bought some presents for them, haven’t give to them yet though.

Our boss is a very cool guy, but he can smile and joke too. He has an aura that makes him a born leader (I think lah). We terkejut on the first day when we’re reading newspaper and he walked in :p Meanwhile, our supervisor is a funny playful guy. He likes to tease us. Eg. When handing him our evaluation forms, he said, “Jangan risau, semua fail hehhehehhe…” The programmer, he is younger than us, but he certainly knows a whole lot more than us. He’s the one who teaches and helps us when we’re cracking our heads on the PHP codes.

Last week I’ve been staying at Sharon’s home due to some transport problems to work. Her whole family is really nice – her daddy, her mommy, her sis and her. I’m truly grateful to have met them – lovely and nice people. Sharon, pls don’t say me “yuk ma” ahh *blush*

Haven’t write my ITP report yet, even the cover also yet to be collected from the faculty office :-L

I’ve been writing this entry since a few hours ago, and I was distracted to clear my yahoo mail half-way. Hmm…I should post this up now, before I go to bath.

It's been 2 years..

Today, my blog turns 2-years-old. Happy Birthday my dear blog!

Yesterday, I’m stunned by shocking news received from Sweewon. The moment I saw her email ‘Subject – I have a bad news’, I kept mumble in my heart hoping that nothing really bad happened when opening the email.

But things seem to run opposite of my wish - an ex-secondary classmate of ours had passed away in her campus, struck by lightning when walking in rain carrying an umbrella.

I’m speechless. It’s been 5 or 6 years since we graduated from secondary school and since then I hardly meet all of my ex-classmates; only a few are in contact. I just didn’t expect things would turn out this way. Ugly ain’t it? But still have to accept the fact --- like it or not, it’s a mortal life after all.

On another thing, yesterday we ate pizza in office again :O But this time around it’s Domino’s and not PizzaHut lah :p Phew!

Next week’s the last week of my ITP. Frankly, I kinda reluctant to leave. Being used to the training [initially I wana put working, but come to think of it, am I really working :)) :”> muahahhaha] environment there and not involving fyp or studies some more. 12 weeks really fly very fast, I couldn’t catch it.

I’ll miss it -- definitely.

Interesting rojak!

The story I'm going to tell is somewhat astonishing. Doesn't happen everyday lah k. Ride along...

Yesterday when going back, I saw a man (I assumed it's a he) driving a trailer as if he was driving a motorcycle.

Guess what? The whole trailer is left with its "vertebrate" only, i.e. no cover, no metal -- nothing. Just a wodden chair -- the driver seat. And, the driver was wearing a helmet. Can you imagine it?

The moment I saw it I was shocked, then soon enough tickled! I can't stand but just felt like burst into a mad laugh. But of course I didn't. If I'm alone, I might have done that. Sshhhhhh!:p tt was sitting beside me mah, I don't wana scare her off.

Then this morning, at the road coming out from Cyberjaya heading towards KLIA toll, we saw cows. Yes, and there're 3 big cows -- in the middle of the road (at the road divider there). The first glance, didn't thought of anything related to cows. 2nd glance, oh my god, did I see wrongly? 3 giant cows either stand and/or sit on the road. Once again, can you imagine it?

And, at the same time, there's an accident at the opposite side of the road. From my glance, I think I saw a Gen-2 being in a state of after-burnt effect. And as usual, there're policemen and traffic jam.

Then....off we go to work!

Pizza anyone? ;)

30th Nov, when one of the staff was resigning, we ate pizza.

Today 29th Dec, they ordered pizza delivery again and invited us (me & sh) to eat but we rejected politely. We thought they (actually there’re only 2 of them) were purely eating pizza just for the sake of eating it.

But, around 5:21pm, suddenly one of them came over and bade us farewell. We’re shocked, really. It never crossed our mind that this would happen, so fast, again.

Pizza = Bye Bye?! This, certainly, is gonna intimidates me from eating pizza again!

Me & sh went to eat pizza when we get our salary last time. And we actually plan to eat it each time we got paid --- means we’ll be eating it twice more for our 3 months training.

Pizza = Get Salary.

But now …… The definition is blurred. I don’t feel like eating it anymore leh.

Hopefully we won’t be eating any pizza inside the company again. *touch wood*

In a flash of the eyes, it's 26th Dec, again.

Does it ring a bell?

The ever giant waves, Tsunami, attacked humans on this date 2 years back.

My (partial) Christmas & New Year's Wishes

1. To those boat-men that asked money from the flood victims out there, I wish your house(s) get flooded NOW!

2. I wish I won’t hear any moronic words coming out from the mouth of our minister(s), ever, again.

Eg. Recently heard from radio DJ, a deputy minister said that women deserved to be robbed – who asked them to carry branded handbags?! It’s like saying the women are portraying an outlook that says, “What are you waiting for? Come snatch me now, I’m carrying a LV bag leh *wink wink*”.

What about men? I hope the minister won’t come out with something like this sooner or later – don’t wear branded jeans like Levi’s. It’ll be deciphered by the snatch thieves as “Come rob my pants now, it’s Levi’s woh!”

Now how’s that?

3. I wish our Mr. future-astronaut is doing good – contribute to Malaysia’s scientific researches.

Finally, I wish everyone’s healthy and happy, esp my family and friends.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2007!!

*hugss & kissess*

Magic Moment

Have you ever encountered this?

Same time;

Same car;

Same people;

Same road;

Same particular spot;

Same radio station;

Different days;

Yet, same song played!

I experienced it this morning and on another morning few weeks back.

The song is 路人 by 江美琪。

It struck me with a sudden amazing thought. The feeling is just awesome.

It's a magical world, ain't it?

sale = sail != sell

Two girls knocked on my door and said they're doing some market survey for Digi. They also mentioned: This is not sale! So I mah chatted with them loh.
Mind you, I was opening my "Home Alone" movie at that time.

They took turn pilipala explained explained and asked for my opinions.

Them:
There're users who complaint that the charges are too expensive, some can even spent up to RM300 or RM500 per month. Do you think it's expensive?

Me:
Wow, it's expensive! But this is non of my business lah, I didn't boil my handphone also.

Them:
Can you tell how much you have to pay when you're talking for 6seconds, 10 seconds or 30seconds?

Me:
Errr....I tak tau lah. 60 cents per minute I know lah.

Then I kepoh-kepoh go told them -- but usually I'm using Friends&Family to call only, so still affordable.

They quickly tembak me -- but F&F is for calling 6 people only; if you use this package, it's very cheap for calling everyone. FOR EVERYONE OHH!!!! :>

Ohhh...ok.

Them:
Now we're doing the promotion. *show me the information charts* If you buy it at Digi Center, it'll cost you RM100. But if you buy it now, it's only RM30. You can choose your own number, means you can decide the 4-digits behind 016-897XXXX.
*the fox tails finally emerged..woo woo wolf*

Me:
Errr...but I wana use back my current number woh. I don't feel like changing.

Them:
Is your number the issue here? *I kinda ignore this coz I have no intention to spend any of my money since the beginning.*

Me:
I think I still don't need this package first lah. I'll purchase it next time when I need it.

Them:
But this promotion is only until end of this month ohh. RM30 is really worth it.

Me:
Ohh...but I still don't need it yet. Thanks ahhh.

Now, can anybody please kindly tell me the difference between sale and not sale?

Can you catch the ball I'm throwing?

This shall bored you

1 month and 3 days ago, I pierced my ears. And, I actually bought a pair of plastic replacement earrings, but I forgot to take them after I paid. Ageing.

Just 3/4 recovered from flu. Got it most probably due to dehydration in air-con room.

Mum: You got drink water or not?
Me: Well, when I'm sick, I drink like mad; but when I'm not sick, I didn't. *hahaha*
Mum: You still dare to say it huh.

:p

I bring approximately 2 litres water to work when I'm having flu; other times, I bring about 500ml :))

When picking up the phone, my bad sister said:"Ma, sick people calling you...".

These few days sh and I have been working on the WML code. It's used for the WAP (access internet through handphones, PDAs etc.) pages. Quite hard. But today finally have some encouraging outcomes.

I actually have a short moment of wrong thought that today is Wednesday when I was waiting at office's downstairs together with sh. I don't know what my mind was thinking. Wander.

A little note: Email is really a nice chatting medium >:) esp during works ;))

It's a bird, It's a plane, It's $$!!!

Today, I got heat up in my head when I saw this news.

蛀米虫 and jiak liao bi really pissed me off.

I say, we sumbat all these people into h*ll! Pardon me, my mistake. It should be lubang jamban. But, will the shits welcome them? I bet it’s a NO NO.

I guess, just throw them out to the space to play batu seremban – that should’ve help. Help us, not help them; in case you’re wondering.

Everyday saw news reporting money flying here and there in the Malaysia's skies, but the money never flew into the citizens' pocket. Worse, it always fly out from the pocket. How sad.

Thanks to who? The undergarment.

Ada apa dengan angkasa lepas

Updates: Our Mr. future-astronaut will also spin traditional Malay tops or known as 'Gasing' if you might wana know, and do batik painting in the space.

Really, what's all this for???!!!

Quoted from TheStar:
“Schoolchildren will be further motivated to increase their interests in science and technology when our astronaut holds a live teleconference with students from several selected schools,” she said, adding that the astronaut would also conduct several experience on micro-gravity in front of the television camera.” ‘She’ --- is refering to Agriculture Ministry parliamentary secretary Rohani Abdul Karim, who was replying on behalf of the Science, Technology and Innovations Ministry.

I have doubts whether the schoolchildren will be truly inspired. Don’t ask me why. Go ask the children.

Our Mr. astronaut-wannabe will board a Russian rocket for eight days of space travel on Sept 2 next year (2007). Millions of RM for 8 days in space -- a place without oxygen, gravity, food, water etc., where we human cannot live in. You do the calculation, and tell me does it worth.

Of course you can say that it’s worth for satellite communication, RF transmission and reception bla bla bla…but I still maintain my stance.

My suggestion would be: take the money to reduce pollutions on Earth so that we’ll have a better place to live, for a longer time. Love our mother nature more lah, duhh.

Assalamualaikum,
Sekian, terima kasih.
Wassalam.

Just testing my long-never-use BM skill :))

Too over liao lah

5:39pm, tt missed call me, signifying that she’s departing from her company. I went down around 6pm. I wait and wait and wait wait wait……

Cut the story short. In the end, I reached Cyberjaya around 8:30pm. Usually around 6:45pm I’ll be reaching my room. But today just….traffic jams extraordinarily. The most probably reason is that the Batu Tiga toll near our company was FLOODED!

On the other note, I bet most people already noticed the country’s big plan to send an astronaut into the space by tumpang-ing Russia spacecraft. This project is spending millions of RM --- contribution from rakyat.

Now, what’s the astronaut gonna do in the space? Read carefully loh…he’s going to play batu seremban, makes teh tarik and God knows what-boh-liao-things. I’m wondering, can’t he just be doing some more meaningful/worthy/valued things for Malaysia? I crack my head hard and I still see no point in all these. Hmm…Am I stupid?

Oh ya, before the program to choose the so-called Malaysia 1st astronaut was launched, how come I never saw/heard any act of government asking us – the rakyat – whether we agree with this larger-than-ever-money-wasting project? There was no poll, no voting or whatsoever. Or did I miss it?

Do we, the rakyat, only have the right to vote during election? Other time we have to remain silent, or are we actually appear invisible to the government? I’m curious.

Some articles to kill time:
True?

Go Haywire

Go Haywire

{Current Official Daily Routine}

H1 { color: purple }

1. Wake up at 6am (for the past 4 days), 6:15am today as we (tt & me) find a new-faster route to work

2. Have breakfast with my training kawan, sh

3. Work from 9:15am – 5:30pm

Note: Office hour is 8:30am – 5:30pm, but our supervisor asks us to go in at 9:15am. However, we often go up (coz 7th floor mah) around 9am and back around 6pm.

4. Reached cyberjaya the earliest 6:30pm, sometimes 7pm, sometimes 7:30pm /*pening-pening*/

5. Sleeping hour ranging from 9 to 11pm so far.

And the loop goes on and on and on……until the snow appears in spring ;)

{My Daily Routine Reporting End}

This 5 working days I’ve drank approximately 13 cups of coffee :-& I’m turning into a coffee-made homosapien.

Our supervisor is a former MMU student. Sometimes, the office’s air-con is very cold. Sometimes not loh. These 5 days have been raining heavy-navy-savvy continuously no fail, either around 2 – 4pm or from 6pm – 8pm.

Feel weird seeing those symbols and codes? It’s what I learn everyday : HTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) for this week. I've modified abit coz this blogger browser don't allow it to be published :p More to come next week : PHP and MySQL. Me and sh basically just sit in front of the monitor everyday until our eyes sore and tired. Boh pian ahh!!

But luckily, both of us also have some interest in HTML. So far so good. According to our supervisor, next week we’ll be assigned (HTML + basic CSS) task, in line of observing our efficiency *gigit gigit gigi* :p

During holidays I’ve fall in love with an Indonesia song à "Pencinta Wanita" sang by Irwansyah (feat. abit by Acha Septriasa). Some parts of the lyrics are quite funny. Have a look:

Ku temukan dalam pencarian

Cinta sejati untuk hidupku

Kurang lebih yang seperti dia

Kuharap dalam cintaku

C/o1:

Ku tak mau menjanjikannya

Pasti bahagia bila denganku

Biar dia rasakan sendiri

Betapa gilanya cintaku

C/o2:

Aku memang pencinta wanita

Namun ku bukan buaya

Yang setia pada seribu gadis

Ku hanya mencintai dia (dia… (C/o2))

Aku memang pencinta wanita

Yang lembut seperti dia

Ini saat ku akhiri semua

Pencarian dalam hidup dan

Cintaku ternyata

Yang ku mau hanyalah dia

Repeat C/o1 (x 1)

Repeat C/o2 (x 1)

I typed the lyrics by myself, any mistake don't blame me lah. Blame me also no use :)) Nite nitezzzz...

5th Nov a Sunday

Listening to the songs I listened at home.

Using the blanket and pillow cases washed by my mom.

Wearing the jean washed by my mom.

Drinking the chinese medicine I brought back from Kuching.

You know what that means?

I miss my home. I miss Kuching.

I’ve counted that I have 57 working days and 27 off-days along my ITP. Then study for 2 weeks and go back Kuching for CNY hols. Hahahahhahaha…I can’t wait!!

I’m counting days…

My room only left me. Alone. Facing the walls. No one to talk to.

Hope everything will change for good once I start working tomorrow.

Hoping for a better day I am…

I learnt a new phrase recently “笑一笑,没烦恼”. We can change our emotion in seconds by just lifting the muscles on both sides of our lips – the smile muscles :) I read it somewhere. Try to have a smile when you’re sad, feeling down or moody; your brain will receive the signals from the muscles and change your emotion to positive thinking immediately. No harm trying right?
