Short Notice...

Since my last post on 25th Jan, I’ve delayed the articles’ writing about Worlds. Why? Because…I’ve been quite busy with my studies lately, as Control Theory’s midterm test is approaching. It’s on next Wednesday, 2nd Feb 2005. Wow! :O It’s been one month past since we stepped into year 2005!

Other than midterm, I’m busy doing Information Theory’s lab report also, that is to be submitted on coming Monday (31st Jan). Wondering why this semester got so many subjects ended with “Theory”??? Aren’t Engineering’s students supposed to be practical? :-S Talking about 31st Jan, I suddenly remembered I’ll be having a lab session on that day too. What a hectic life?!

Being very moody yesterday, due to all the accumulated reasons, or no reason at all? I have no idea. Just felt that even a tiny thing can get me irritated, and it seemed like the whole world had step on my foot. Sorry to friends whom I’ve offended (if any :p) with my unstable mood swings, and thanks to my friend whom had “lend ears (eyes)” upon my “bombarding” of moods. Really felt better after I’ve voice all my unsatisfactory out.

Alright, forget about those ups and downs! I’ll only continue posting articles about Worlds after my test on 2nd Feb. Till then, stay cool everyone! L-)

1st January 2005 : Free Day Tours and Comedy & Irish Nights

Today is the free day tours for all the participants. Thus, basically we didn’t have anything to do. After having my breakfast, I went up my room to continue sleeping :@) *piggy piggy…muahahahahha* Ever since Worlds started, this is the first day that I can sleep for such a long time, fulfilling my duty as Sleeping Buddha :>

At 1 something in the afternoon, Jay brought us (Alex, Francis, Joanne, Won & I) to Kepong for lunch. Then, we headed back to Grand Seasons Hotel for meeting at 4pm. The meeting was mainly assigning tasks to individual on the later night events, the Comedy Night and the Irish Night.

Won and Joanne stationed at Bukit Bintang monorail, showing the participants way to Bangkok Jam. For your information, Bangkok Jam is a place where you can let your party spirit blown as high as u wish ;) *wink wink* Francis, Dan and I were at KLI waiting for participants, and leading them to the Chowkit monorail. We took train to Bukit Bintang station and walked towards Bangkok Jam. Bangkok Jam is not far away from the Captain Cabin’s that we went on the 30th Dec night.

Let’s share a funny incident that I’ve heard ;) Two of our committees who had dressed up were standing at the junction showing the participants the correct way to Bangkok Jam. Then, there was this one police car stopped by and asked them to show their IC. Furthermore, the policemen were asking them why they’re standing there etc. I bet you could guess why right? *grin* Yes, the policemen thought they were “looking for business” :)) hehehehe…

P/s: The lesson here is “never ever stand at the middle of the road at Bukit Bintang if you’re dressed up beautifully”. Who knows what/who might come your way?! ;)

Dengz brought us (Joanne, Won, Francis & I) to go eat Beef Noodle. When we finished eating, we received call from Jay saying that he wanted to have dinner. So, we accompanied him and Alex to eat :p But, before we met with them, we stopped by a hotel for “mother nature call”, and took some pictures there. Then, we rushed for the last monorail back at about 12am and we met Rut.

Picture taken at the hotel lobby ^_^

In the train, Rut and Jay were chatting excitedly about Rut’s campus, the Assumption University, Bangkok. Jay said that it is best describes as tourists’ spot, and that you have to drive for hours into the jungle to reach there. Seems like “Another World on It’s Own in the Jungle” :D I hope I can step my foot there someday!

Due to the sold out of train tickets, we managed to get a free monorail ride :D Back to KLI and all of us were “dead in bed” again :p

31th December 2004 : 3rd (Last) Day in MMU @ New Year’s Eve

The last day of the year 2004! Today I followed the 2nd bus. In the bus, I knew a debater from China, Wei Qiang. Reached MMU, the participants headed to MPH for debate briefing, as usual. The events for today were debates Round VII, VIII & IX.

As today was Friday, so there was prayer for Muslims at about 12 noon till 2:30pm. Thus, the lunch had been served earlier, that is right after the debate Round VII. Domino’s Pizzas were the foods of the day! Most of the participants loved it :> Some of them just ran over to the foods’ canopies and grabbed one whole box of the pizza 8-} *pengsan* The situation seemed out of control, compared to the previous two days. So, we had no choice but to hide some of the pizzas, keeping it for the participants who really haven’t had their lunch. Do you know where did we hide it? ;;) I bet you can’t guess that place, muahahahha :)) Surprisingly, yes, we hid it in the LIBRARY!! And Gabe’s brother was assigned to look after it *poor thing*.

When I walked out from the library, I saw Won, Joanne, Hanni and Yingxuan were taking photos with Mike. So, of course I walked to them straight away :> *malu-nya* And, I managed to take a photo with Mike. Then, I gave him my name card, as promised the day before. After that, we went to find Miles and took photos with him as well.

Where the hell was I looking at?! :-L *stupid me!* He is just right beside me, I mean Mike :">

Miles with me. I should've looked more cheered up? Shouldn't I?!

At the evening after debate Round VIII started, we (Jay, Janet, Won, Joanne, Hanni, Dengz, Syark, Yingxuan, me etc) chatted happily at one of the canopy. Some of us even said that this is the first day that we can actually sit down, chat, joke and have some drinks in peace, ever since Worlds started :p

Photo taken with Dengz in between the chat :)

At about 5pm, Won and I helped out in the Refunds & Receipts. The envelopes were sorted according to country’s name, in alphabetical order. If I’m not mistaken, I was managing I to K, while Won was L to S. This was the time here came this one funny guy, Jon (nick name).

Jon: “This is the refund and receipts counter?”
Me: “Yes. Which country you’re from?”
Jon: “Japan! Japan! Japan! Japan! (talking with hand motion simultaneously)”
Me: “Ermm, which university then?”
Jon: “Japan! Japan! Japan! Japan!”
Me: “Har? :O (looked at him amusedly, with my mouth half opened)”
Jon: “Ohh…I think I’m from Singapore. Singapore! Singapore! Singapore! (with hand motion again)”
Me: “Singapore is the next counter. (pointed to Won)”
Jon: “Ohh…”

By this time, Hanni and I looked at each other, then started to laugh our head off =)) even it’s in front of Jon *sorry ya* It’s really so funny :))

Dengz took pizzas for me and Farah at about 6pm. So, I started to gobble my lunch and dinner ---> a piece of pizza :( After that, Joanne called me and asked me to call Ms Mazwan of CCC, a department that manages all the protocols of events. And so, I ended up meeting her in her office to discuss about the Malaysia’s Book of Records (MBR) stuff. We’ve discussed for about an hour and I’ve borrowed a pen and a pen holder from CCC for the purpose of signing the Mock Certificate during the Closing Ceremony tomorrow. Before I leaved her office, she treated me a cup of 3 in 1 coffee :D It’s so nice of her, isn’t she?

On my way back to hostel, I met with Won who was heading to STAD building, it’s then only I found out that it’s already 7:25pm :O The buses were leaving soon. I rushed back to my room, simply grabbed my bag and ran to STAD again :-L Why I said “again”?? It’s because Ms Mazwan’s office is also at STAD building :-<

In the bus, Won was writing the notice for later event, the Break Night (New Year’s Eve party) at Kenny Hills. The notice mainly was asking the participants to meet at KLI downstairs at 9:30 later, as we reached KLI at 8:45pm. Before I left the bus, I reminded the bus driver that later was at 9:30pm. However, we only departed from KLI at 10:30pm eventually, because we were waiting for some participants. So, when I boarded the bus together with Joanne and Won, the bus driver was teasing me about the time.

He: “Tengok, tadi cakap pukul sembilan setengah, sekarang sudah sepuluh setengah.”
Me: “Sorry lah abang. Saya bukan sengaja punya. Sorry, jangan marah ya.”

The three of us were standing in the bus. Got two debaters wanted to give their seats to us, but we refused :p I stand at the door side, while Joanne and Won stand higher. We chatted with the bus driver along the way. When we reached Kenny Hills, he forgot that I’m standing there, so he opened the door and the door just happened to “clamp” me. I felt myself was like a sardine being “clamp” in between two breads :-& I yelled for help at the bus driver, and he fast fast closed the door back. I walked up to Won and Joanne. Then, a Bangladeshi joked with me, “Ohh, you get slimmer (laughing).” *punch him b-( hehe*

After going down from the bus, the participants were transferred to another bus which will drive them up to a certain point, for about 1km. Then, from there they had to walk for about 1km more to reach the particular mansion. As there was only one bus driving up, so some of the participants had to wait for another round. We followed the first round and ushered the participants towards the mansion. Then we walked back to the place where the bus dropped us to usher the second round participants. On half way, a debater, Kid gave us a ride in his Kancil. *many thanks*

Won lead the second round, while I and Joanne stayed there.
Miles past by us and asked, “Are you guys coming later? (with the killer smiles – quote from Won)” We: “Ya ya, we’ll be coming.” Miles: “So, seeya later then.” We: “Alright. Seeya.”

In the mansion, we waited for the New Year’s countdown at the stair. The DJ led the people to count down from 10 second to 1 second at 11:59:50pm. At 12am sharp, all participants were cheering and shouting happily, while a few participants jumped into the swimming pool that was containing cans of liquors. Joanne took a few pictures, but hardly focused because it’s too dark there :p We left the mansion a while later. We've actually "fong fei kei -- put aeroplane (direct translation from Cantonese) :))" Miles and Mike them :p Before back to KLI, we stopped by 7-11 shop to buy mee cups and bottle waters.

We had mee cups as our supper, then sleep! This is how we celebrated our New Year’s Eve, pretty unique though :> *never ate mee cup during all my previous New Year’s Eves*

30th December 2004 : 2nd Day in MMU

Today there were debates Round IV, V & VI at MMU. Like yesterday, after having our breakfast, we urged the participants into the buses. Won and Francis were at the breakfast area asking them to eat faster as the buses were leaving shortly, while Joanne, Dan and I were at the Ground floor directing people into the buses. The bus will only left once it’s full, that is filled with 44 people. I followed the first bus, alone :> sitting right beside the bus driver.

We helped out Jay in lunch again, after two rounds of debates over. One unique scene during lunch break is some of the participants were actually sitting on the grass, or floor, or basically everywhere =) I bet it’s their foreign universities’ culture eh?! The Western style :> Meanwhile, some of the debaters were playing the Frisbee. It seems quite fun seeing them throwing it from a person to another person. I really feel like I’m currently in one of the Western university that I used to watch through movies :p Those campus feels…aww :x

Among the scene :)

I went to help Janet in the Public Speaking Preliminaries after lunch. It was held in the five lecture halls. The lecture halls I was in got a total of nine speakers. They get to choose their own topic from the fifteen topics listed by picking a number from 1 to 15 randomly. Each speaker was given 5 minutes to present their speeches. After chosen the topic, the next speaker had to prepare outside the lecture hall for about 5 minutes, while the current speaker was speaking inside the lecture hall. When came to the last speaker, he had actually chosen the topic called “Carl Sagan finds religion.”

He: “(looked at the topic) Ermm, can I change my topic?”
Me: “I’m sorry, you’ve chosen it.”
He: “Alright. (sounded disappointed)”

I didn’t let him change the topic as to be fair to other speakers. Then, by the time when it’s his turn to speak, he actually just made all the possible identity assumptions he can think of about Carl Sagan, from businessman to lawyer, and even to politician :)) Before he ended his speech, he said this, “I have been talking for 5 minutes about someone that I don’t even know who the hell he is!” Oh my god, he’s just so cute yet steady! Imagine you have to talk non-stop for 5 minutes about someone you have no idea of ^:)^ *salute*

Just about the time for debate Round III to finish, Joanne and I went to the STAD building waiting for the debaters to come. Here, we met with Miles and Mike. Mike asked us to take photo with both of them :D *so happy :))* After that, I gave Miles my name card, and I had no more left.

Me: “Sorry Mike, I don’t have any more name card with me now. But I have it in my room, I’ll give it to you tomorrow. (Smiling)”
Mike: “Ohh, so you’re inviting me to your room? (Smiling naughtily at me)”
Me: “(terkejut) No no no…I mean I’ll give it to you tomorrow :”> *blushing*.”

Later at night, there was Women’s Debate at Captain’s Cabin. We lead the participants to Chowkit monorail and departed towards Bukit Bintang Station. Walking for a short distance and there it is, the Captain’s Cabin! The Women’s Debate started right after we reached there, right timing leh :> The four of us (Joanne, Francis, Won & I) only had our dinner there, at about 11pm. Won and I ordered red wine, and Won get a bit drunk eventually. The three of us were watching the debate, when Won suddenly approached us and said that she wanted to go back because the debate isn’t interesting and that she was sleepy already. That was the time where we noticed that her face had turned red, due to drunk. So, we faster brought her back, as she started to talk nonsense already :))

Rut & I at KLI ground floor, before departed to Chowkit monorail. Rut is from Assumption University, Bangkok.

L-R: Won, me, Kevin & Joanne at Chowkit monorail waiting for train to Captain's Cabin.

Along the way back, the three of us were watching her every step, in the sense that we scared she might do something extraordinary. But, fortunately we get back to KLI safely, whew! #:-S In our room, Won’s emotion was still quite high, she kept on talking to me while I was already half dead in my bed @_@ And I fall asleep without knowing whether she’s still talking to me :p *too tired*

Note: Due to this “lesson”, I bet the few of us will try our very best to prevent her from being drunk again in the future =))

29th December 2004 : First Day in MMU

Finally, we’re heading towards Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya. All the buses were supposed to leave KLI in between 7:30am till 8:15am, as the Round I debate was scheduled to start at 9am. However, there were a bit of delays though, as usual *grin* You get what I mean, don’t you? It’s pretty difficult to get up at this early morning, especially for certain universities students that are used to be sleeping late :p like me :”>

I followed the 3rd bus, with Won and the group of Bangladeshi that I’ve went for supper with. Won and I just kept on talking and laughing in the bus, which helped drove our tiredness and sleepiness away ^_^ We reached campus at about 9:20am, went down at STAD building, then straight away lead the debaters to the debate’s briefing room, MPH. There were runners allocated along the way, between certain distances, wearing organizing committee’s T-shirt. Some of them actually greeted Won and I, as if we’re also debaters :)) But the fact is, we’re the committees without the committee’s T-shirt :p Why? It’s because we haven’t wash the T-shirt that we’ve wore on the previous day, and we’ve only got one T-shirt! *excuses*

I saw Won was talking to Miles, a cute handsome guy from Croatia in between the lecture halls. So, I walked to them and joined their conversation. Miles has very charming smiles *his smiles killed Won >:) muahahaha* He invited us to watch his Round II debate. We watched him and his partner, Mike debated as the opposition party. Mike is another cute, handsome, friendly and a bit naughty guy, from Croatia as well. He likes to smiles and winks at us @-) *oh god, I’m gonna faint :”>* Yes, he killed me! *blush blush*

After debates of Round I & II finished, it’s lunch time. We (Joanne, Won, me, Hanni, Yingxuan & a few campus runners) helped Jay in distributing the foods and waters to the debaters. The foods were ready in plates and once the debater came, we just gave them that plate of food and a bottle of water, so called “the most organized lunch”, quote from Abang :p

Master’s Final was coming! We helped Licky in reminding those finalists and adjudicators to be at MPH in time. We’ve waited for a finalist for about an hour, as he’s still discussing the result for the previous debate that he had adjudicated with the other two adjudicators. Only afterward we found out that he’s actually staying in KLI also, his name is Kevin =) The motion (title) for the Master’s Final sounds like this “Should the hosting of Olympic be given to the developing countries?” It was indeed a very interesting and funny debate. Oh yeah, Caleb is one of the finalist too! An interesting point here, there were seven male finalists, and only ONE female finalist. Why ahh??

Just before the last speaker finished her speech, Joanne and I rushed back to hostel room to grab our bags. We’re running like mad 8-} seems like 100m race, because we had to catch the bus back to hotel. During the way back, I was resting soundly, while Won, Joanne and Francis were chatting excitedly. Then, all of a sudden they just popped up the idea of ordering the Pizza Hut special delivery as our dinner, or should I call supper?? We can actually sing out the phone number: 1300-88-2525, due to the mass publicities through radio stations and TV channels.

We let the participants went down from the bus, and watched them back to the hotel. Yes, watched!! ;)) Then, we boarded the bus again and headed to Grand Seasons Hotel (GSH), as the Pizza Hut delivery only knew their way to GSH. After getting our pizzas, we actually went up the Ops room to grab eight cans of Carlsberg, heheheheh… we only drink once in a blue moon. In fact, it’s easier to fall asleep after having one can of it :D

Finished eating the pizzas but not finishing a can of Carlsberg, we just slept off !

28th December 2004 : Master’s Debates @ VI

Every morning at KL International Hotel (KLI), we’re required to go down for breakfast latest by 6:30am, just before everyone else i.e. the participants. So, I supposed u can guess that we’re the earliest to wake up and the latest to sleep (: *yawn yawn*

Here we are, today there’s gonna be Master’s Debate Round I & II at Victoria Institution, Jalan Hang Tuah (according to Francis, an ex-student of VI). So, in the morning we walked the participants to Chowkit monorail (about 300m from KLI). From there, they took the monorail, headed to Hang Tuah Station and walked a distance to VI. There were runners stationed at both stations to give direction to the participants, in case they might get lost. Won, Joanne and I were at Chowkit, while Francis went to Hang Tuah first to lead the way.

Then, unintentionally, the three of us took a ride with Balloons, Jay and Alex heading towards VI, in an unser. They’re bringing a very heavy icebox which containing soft drinks. I can hardly PULLED it :p Even I myself can cramp inside it! Along the way, we joked happily and Jay has told us a very funny story which happened after the Trivia Night last night. A friend of ours actually crapped on the chair in the hotel room after he’s drunk, by thinking that the chair is his toilet bowl 8-} *dizzying* And for that incident, he’d gotten his new nick ---> crapchair =))

By the time we reached VI, the Master’s Debate Round I had already started. We saw some participants playing football at the field. Then, we went to the canteen to have our lunch, burgers. At about 2pm, right before the Round II started, we distributed drinks to the debate rooms. Then, we went into one of the debate room and enjoyed the debate :) This is when I get to notice a debater, Caleb. The first impression I had in my mind was, he really looks like Jim Carrey, the famous comedy star. His facial expression, his look, his hair, just seems like a clone of Jim Carrey :))

Won & Caleb at KL City Hall (3rd Jan 2005) after the Official Closing Ceremony. He looks like Jim Carrey, doesn't he?? You judge it!

After the debates ended, we ushered the debaters onto the buses back to the hotels. Next event ---> Official Opening Ceremony of Worlds was held at 8pm at National Art Gallery. All participants dressed up formally and beautifully *eyes catching :>* The three of us (Won, Joanne & me) were actually walking around the art gallery and we did take some photos there :D

L-R: Joanne, Won & I posing at entrance of the Art Gallery :D

We’ve only got back to KLI at 11 something. Despite the thought to sleep earlier and prepared ourselves for tomorrow’s event at our own campus, Multimedia University, an urgent meeting was called at 2am. So, the four of us (Francis, Joanne, Won & I) had to walk to Grand Seasons Hotel in the middle of the night *can be treated as exercises though :>* Ramon fetched us back to KLI after the meeting adjourned, at about 3:40am. And, once we get back to our room, we were all “dead in bed”, a quote from Francis.

Above all, see you guys in MMU Cyberjaya tomorrow!

27th December 2004 : The Worlds is HERE, hooray!!

After having our breakfast, putting on our committee’s T-shirt, we started to work at around 9am, as the participants’ Registration Counter opened. Actually bunch by bunch of the participants arrived at Grand Seasons Hotel (GSH) since early in the morning, filling up almost every corner of the hotel lobby and spaces in front of the Registration Counter, making us hardly to find our way to walk around #-o

Won and I were stationed at GSH to arrange some debaters to go to KL International Hotel (KLI) by shuttle vans, while Francis and Joanne were in KLI itself, doing the registration for those debaters who were going to stay in KLI.

At one time when I was walking out from the Registration Counter, a debater approached me and asked me some questions. But, due to my lousy listening skills, I can’t catch what he was trying to ask me actually *paiseh :”>* So, I took the most lame solution --> pointed to the Registration Counter, asked him to ask them and escaped from there…Frankly, I did notice the way he looked at me when I pointed to the counter, I myself interpreted it as “Why this girl is so weird?” What to do? No choice but to polish up my English, or my ears? *sigh*

Basically I’ve met most of the participants on this very first day of this debating tournament. Why? Because I went to help Alex in distributing the goodie bags to the participants, as there was still no one going to KLI. And I eventually “took” his job :p Leaving Won alone doing all the arranging works,sorry ya…^:)^ I kept on repeating a few sentences when I was distributing the goodie bags 8-}

“(Smiling) Hi, how many people in your team?”
“Ohh, 5 people? / 10 people? / 16 people? etc etc”
“Here’s your goodie bags . / Here you go. (smiling)”
“Have a nice day. (smiling AGAIN)”

I was wondering when will my face muscles experienced cramps :p due to the “massive” smiles…Meanwhile, I’ve actually chatted with one of the committee, whom was helping me out in the goodie bags stuff and whom I’ve forgotten his name *forgive my short term memory loss* It was a nice chat indeed, sometimes in English, sometimes in Malay :) Our conversation mostly concentrated on which debater is pretty/cute/handsome bla bla bla :))

The participants were too many, until the goodie bags went out of stock for several times :-w Won and I only gotten the chance to grab our lunch at about 4pm, really starving man, until my stomach experienced “feelingless”. We grabbed two packs of food for Francis and Joanne as well, before we headed to KLI.

The four of us were supposed to help Gabe in the Trivia Night, an event where multinational teams will pit intelligence against intelligence, skill against skill, in the GSH ballroom. But, we had to lead the “walking parties” for participants whom were heading for the Trivia Night from KLI to GSH. Thus, eventually left Won alone (AGAIN) helping out Gabe *poor Won, really doesn’t meant to dumb you alone each time O:-)*

However, Won get to taste the vodka+cranberries drinks (meaning she drank more than just one cup >:) kakakaakaka), which is nice according to her. I didn’t get to taste it though :( Will make sure myself get a taste of it someday, sometime, somewhere :>

26th December 2004 : Just Before Worlds…

Before I started with my stories, let’s have a brief idea why we (me, Won, Francis, Hanni & Hanlun) wanted to join this Worlds as committees in the first place. The reason is mainly because we these “katak di bawah tempurung” wished to meet and get to know those debaters from all around the world. It’s absolutely not a common thing to meet such a huge crowd (around 1000 people) in such a short while (9 days)! And, basically we’ve met some foreign “leng zais--handsome”, hehehehee….the further stories will be told in one of my future articles :>

Alright, back to 26th Dec. We (me & Swee won) started our journey towards Grand Seasons Hotel at about 2pm. Our friend, Chuen Cheat fetched us there, as we’ll be having a meeting at 4pm there. But, due to traffic jam and a stopped at Lowyat to buy printer inks, we reached Grand Seasons Hotel at about 5pm, one hour late :p We thought we’re late already, but after that found out that we both are the earliest among LD team(Won, Francis, Hanni, Hanlun, Joanne & me). For your information, LD stands for Longest Debate, an event that was held at 6th & 7th November 2004 for 36 hours non-stop at KL Tower. Oh, the meeting haven’t start actually :D

Once we reached Grand Seasons, we went to the Worlds’ Official Counter and then straight up to a hotel room. We’re not lazy okay…we were assigned to print out the 25 years of Worlds history and also the participants Guidebooks on the previous night, and we’re still working on it today. So, I bet you can guess how much is the total amount to be printed *a lot* So, we continued our tasks in the room, until don’t know what time…then, dinner time \:D/

We (me, Won, Joanne and Francis) actually walked to The Mall, about 1km walk from Grand Seasons :-& and ate there. By the time we walked back to Grand Seasons, the dinner that we’ve just ate were digested already *sigh* At 8pm, the meeting is called. We all gathered in the Operation Room (Ops room in short) and had our first meeting in Grand Seasons.

At midnight, we (me, Joanne, Geno, Dan and Francis) accompanied a group of Bangladeshi debaters for supper at a mamak, which is right behind Grand Seasons Hotel. We introduced Malaysia’s well known “teh ais---a kind of tea" to them, and they liked it.

We: “How was the drink?”
Them: “Excellent!” (hehehe…happy to hear that :p)

There’s a small incident happened in that mamak though. A half naked fierce guy came into the mamak and started to shout and scold people. We all was scared and kept on praying that nothing bad will happen. Fortunately, our prayer works! :)>- After back to the hotel, it’s already 3 something midnight. We’re tired and sleepy, like dead body with panda eyes walking around :p So, it’s bed time :> Got back to our room and saw Won was still printing *poor thing* By the way, did you ever noticed that she didn’t follow us to supper?!

Sleep till the next morning 6 something and crawled up to start our job @_@ Today is 27th December. The Worlds are here man!!

The Journey Begins...

A BIG "hi" to all :) Welcome to my blog...welcome to my life ;;)

How my journey of writing blog begins? Basically it’s because I wish to share certain meaningful event that I’ve gone through, and also as a way to jot down those beautiful memories in my one and only life.

Some of my ideas are generated when I was in my “Heaven of Ideas” ---- bathroom :)) Actually I’ve been thinking of writing this article a few days back, but I have to postpone it due to my Engineering Maths IV midterm exam, which was just over a few hours ago, 9pm to be exact :p

After the test we still stayed in campus, waiting for a friend to finish her meeting, and then went for supper at Serdang McD together ;) In the meantime, we’re actually watching Hong Kong drama series in one of the lecture hall, so called fully utilized the facility >:) There were a total of 17 people, heading towards McD seemed like going for gang fight B-) We had to sit at four different tables, since there were too many of us. We’ve took some pictures there. Most of the time we were chatting and time just flies without we noticing it that it’s already 12am.

17 fancheongs at McD :p

Frankly, I’ve just gotten back from McD, and I’m here writing and posting my very first article :> while drinking my 3 in 1 coffee and listening to nice songs in my Real One Player…wow, really enjoyable <:-P

Tomorrow I got morning class at 8am though :( I have to crawl up from my lovely comfortable bed again :-L Oh yeah, for your information, I am known as Sleeping Buddha among my friends, due to my passion and addiction for sleep :> So, every 8am class is torturing me actually. I have seven hours of classes in total on Thursday. Oh god, it’s gonna be just another tiring day ahead…

I’m feeling tired and sleepy already, will go to bed pretty soon. Meanwhile, watch out for my upcoming articles about World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC), which I’ll call it as Worlds from now onwards. It’s a debating event that just being held not long ago from 27th December 2004 till 4 January 2005. There are a lot of interesting stories waiting to be revealed, and photos to be uploaded :> Stay alert!

But for now, it's time to sleep...see you in dreamlands! Sleep tight, nicely and peacefully :D *Sleeping Buddha is here* nite nitezzz
