Worry worries

Suddenly, I felt I am being stressed upon a lot of things.
I feel anxious and helpless.

Ooh...helpless :(

I’m worry that our CCIP Music Division couldn’t get enough sub-comms.

I’m worry that our division cannot produce any outcomes.

I dunno what to update on this coming meeting.

Am I the only one who worry that much bout this?

And, I’m worry about my German midterm on this Sat.

Also, I’m worry bout my final exams which are in less than 2 weeks time.

Just plain worries!

ANgelic side

Sometimes, we're frustrated by something that done by somebody. That time being, we just feel like scold them on their face(s). But it's just a thought afterall.

Nevertheless, come to think about it, i think the best way to not frustrated ourself too much would be -- try to think of the angelic side of them, and of the goodness that they have done to you or others. Then, we will feel better and have a feeling that they are not that bad at all.

But, if you couldn't think of the goodness they've ever done, try to search through other people. If still none, then i don't think they will be in your thoughts any more, no?

There's a saying in Chinese which means something like this ---- learn the goodnesses of others, and treat their weaknesses as an alarm for you not to do anything similar.

Well, try to look in different perspectives, we'll see a more beautiful world, and soul :)

Today in History

One year ago on today, Tsunami -- a natural disaster caused by the earthquake beneath the ocean -- hit the coast of Aceh, Sri Lanka, Phuket Island etc. The monstrous wave destroyed everything near the seaside and caused 200,000 ++ of casualties. The damages it brought were prolonged -- even until today. Many were still homeless.

Today, many places all over the world are mourning over the disaster's anniversary, and people are grieving over their loved one who had died. Refer Mourners mark tsunami anniversary for details.

Let's mourn 1 minute in loving memory of the dead. May them rest in peace.

Narnia in TGV KLCC

Well, continue from previous post, we're heading to KLCC from Times Square. We reached TGV at 6pm whereas the show was at 6:10pm. So, we rushed to bought our tickets. There's only 7 tickets left if i'm not mistaken. We actually managed to slip the popcorn from IMAX into the TGV :)) Coz the so called "regular" popcorn was not-so-regular and we can't finished it. Ya, it might be regular if compare to King KOng's size :p

The golden Christmas tree in KLCC. You see, i'm aligning the top and bottom view of the Christmas tree so that it can transform into a complete one :> There're 2 reindeers accompanying the Christmas tree. Will post a close up look of the reindeers......... after these 2 photos :))

The famous Rudolph the red nose reindeers -- but i fail to see any red nose here though.

The other side of the Christmas tree --- the Kids area. Ya, adult (like us) is PROHIBITED! Mummy.....waawawawawawa :((

P/s: All the photos above were taken after the movie.

Now, come to talk about The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. I've been craving to watch this movie half year ago when it started its advertiments and trailer on TV *wow* I like to see exotic creatures in it that are non-existing in the real world. They speak English too!!!!! Eg. The Centaur (half man half horse) & the Faun (half man half deer). And, i love snow! There're plenty of snow scene in the movie.

Besides, i admire the wise Aslan the almighty lion king in the movie too. He has the wisdom and kindness which made him a trustworthy King of Narnia. Also, the beavers are super cute ;)

See, we watched 2 movies in a day. Crazy? I say no. Coz this is not the first time i did this hehehhe. In 2003, I watched The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [starring Sean Connery and others] & 大只佬 [starring Andy Lau and Ceceilia Cheung] in one day too. And not to mention, i went for LOTR marathon *yeah i have the cert* 12 crazy hours i bet cha.

With this, i'm off to perform my duty for today.

King Kong in IMAX

On 23th Dec, we (sweewon, hanlun, chuencheat, me) went out for movie -- King Kong -- at IMAX, Berjaya Times Square. Mingyih went to KL with us but she didn't join us for movie.
The lift there were very very slow, and we're in a hurry. So, we ran up the elevator for 10 floors *whew* It's tiring.

After getting the tickets, we sit there waiting while took some photos. The photo below was took in front of the "rainbow wall -- i named it" at the entrance to the cinemas. Swee won did took pictures of the theme park there, head over to have some glances.

I can say that King Kong is kinda touching movie, just like its predecessors in old times. Hey I watched King KOng since i was a kid. This time around, the leading actress is Naomi Watts (known as Ann Darrow in the movie -- pretty & attractive) , while the leading actor is Adrien Brody (known as Jack Driscoll in the movie -- a charming guy). And of course, the KIng Kong. Besides, the character Carl Deham (a filmmaker in the movie) is very annoying, i just feel like punching his shrewd face, esp his eyes. He's the one that deserve to die the most, but he lives -- bad guys live longer eh?

Anyway, below is the Christmas tree in Times Square, photo taken after the 3 hrs movie.

The lighting decorations that present the Christmas feels, in Times Square as well. Can you see the crowd? Yes, there's alot of people.
Next, we're heading to KLCC for the nect movie :> hehehheehhe... We certainly know how to enjoy our life no?

Christmas 2003-2004-2005

Merry merry Christmas to all!

Christmas 2003 @ KLCC [L-R: Yeejen , Swee Won , me]

Christmas 2004 @ KLCC [me & Hanni]

Christmas 2005 @ KLCC [me :D]

So, we "unintentionally" took photos with the 33metres almighty Christmas tree in KLCC as background for 3 years straight! :O

I really feel time flies from the tip of my fingers without me noticing it. It's been 3 years! Not a short period. I've even turned from the 18 green-apple age to the i-can-vote-legally age. You get me don't you?

Oh gosh, i feel so old :(

Well, the 3 photos are just for you to make some comparison when you're bored.

Do you noticed that the Christmas tree's decoration are the same for year 2003 & 2004? It's in purple color. Whereas year 2005 is the elegant shiny golden decoration. I like it.

Btw, do you noticed also that my shirt for year 2003 & 2005 are the same? *blush* It's an coincidence OK!! Coz i didn't expect to take picture in KLCC initially. Do you believe me? I hope you do.

I still have 2 or 3 posts in mind. SO do wait for the updates. Cheers!

Happy New Year peeps!

The usual me

I’ve been lazing around these few days.

Wasting my time like none of my own business.

Though I keep on reminding myself to study study and study, but it’s effortless.

I still feel like sleeping whenever I’m in my room, or when I’m touching my notes.

It’s such an uncontrollable situation, which I should stop it and find back my self-disciplined self.

Well, think I should kill the sleeping @ lazy worms within me, and perhaps grow some hardworking worms inside.

Let’s fong chiong siong ngan and see whether I can transform myself throughout this trimester.

Wait for the outcome on the end of this trimester ;)

Sharing moment

Owhh, it’s such a boring Saturday. Hmm…I look up side down, left and right, here and there…Think! Ohh yes! And hence I took out all the necessary “things” and photographed them.

Come come, have a look at what I’ve received for my birthday this year ;)

Ray, Swee won, Alister, Yinghan and Carol gave me Nicholas Teo’s 张栋梁 latest CD, with the title track called “只在乎你 dearly love you”. Another highlighted song is 日日夜夜 (Every Day and Night). I had a meal at The WestWood restaurant in Kuching with Swee won, Ray and Alister when they past the CD to me that night.

The CD front view

The CD rear view

Also, alongside with the CD are two paper files printed with Nicholas’s photos, 5 cute badges and 4 posters, which were nicely placed inside an elegant pink color plastic bag.

The 5 badges

See the pink bag under the five badges? It doesn’t look good in the picture, but it certainly does in reality. Photograph can be deceiving :)

Now, let’s look at the wooden handmade comb from 谭木匠 which Hanni and other friends gave me. You know what?! This comb came exactly the right time coz my ex-comb has gone missing and another new one is a bit damaged :p

Notice the words “I like…decoration” under the comb? It’s actually the bottom part of the pink plastic bag. Am just putting the bag as a background for the wooden comb :D

One thing I’d like to highlight is that among the posters, there’s one printed with Power Rangers. I was surprised, stunned, and laughed my head off when I first opened it. Coz I’m already too old to own a Power Rangers product :p I do know that.

Next, here are pictures taken during the pre & post-birthday celebration at the TGI Friday’s, 1 Utama on 9th Sept. Why pre & post? Its bcoz our birthdays vary through August to October respectively.

6 of us cutting a big birthday cake.

6 cute little icons [they were sugar made] which were on top of the cake earlier.

L-R: The Garfield cat, tiger (mine), panda, rabbit, elephant & cow. Btw, do you notice that the Garfield's left eye is gone? ya, it's accidentally eaten =)) shhh, don't tell ohh!

Okay, lastly, I would like to dedicate a million thanks to the above mentioned friends for giving me those memorable moments and nice gifts. Appreciate it, you guys rock!

Hey ya!

Hallo! Wie geht’s?
Yup, I took German Level 1 as co-curricular subject this trimester. The phrases above mean “Hello! How are you?”

Tell you something, my German lecturer is a lovely German lady woh :p very tall as well. But due to some contracts problem, she’ll leave us in 2 weeks time, waaaa wa waaaa :(( Please please don’t go….I’ll miss her.

Alright, let’s recap some events happened during my holidays in Kuching. Of course, I did sleep and eat like a good baby kid. I watched “Corpse Bride”, an animated movie which emphasizes on unbounded love, owhhh…

By the way, Jia Xu paid a visit to Kuching during the holidays :> Then we five ladies went to The Cat Museum and took some, errr, stupid photos?? You figure it out.

~The Cat Ladies~

We did step our foot at the Water Front as well, and enjoy the riverbank views there, including the views at the opposite river bank. Oh yah, we looked at some uncles fishing for prawns and fishes there :D

Also, we (the five of us and a former tutor) went to a “house like” restaurant and order some drinks and chat through. Then, we were brought to the Little Hong Kong --- actually is the river bank view we saw from the Water Front. There’s a lot of food stalls and the houses are decorated with colorful bulbs due to the Hari Raya festival. Next, we proceeded to the outside of Astana. The surrounding view is beautiful, but we didn’t spend much time there.

Emmm, two little doggies become my family members during the holidays. Both are males. One of them --- Chu Chu is very clever and naughty, but he knows how to act so that you won’t punish it :)) Another one --- Ter Ter is not that naughty and more quiet. However, a bad news regarding Chu Chu’s death broke half of my heart on 19th Nov when I’m already in Cyberjaya. It’s sad that I can’t see it grows up :( May he rest in peace!

After coming back to Cyberjaya, me and friends went to watch the “Harry Potter And The Goblets Of Fire” on 18th Nov (Friday) at GSC MidValley. Well, I’m satisfied with the ups and downs in the movie, it attracts attention. Mayb it’s because I didn’t read the book, that’s why didn’t have any expectation, thus can’t compare :p

Okay, got to go now. Tschüss! (Bye! in German)

The Myth

You gotta listen to the theme song of the movie The Myth -- "Endless Love". This song is very romantic and touching, though abit 凄凉。 Might be another legend after "Romeo & Juliet" and "The Butterfly Lover 梁山伯与祝英台".

The uniqueness of this song is undoubtedly where Jackie Chan 成龙 duets with Kim Hee-Seon 金喜善 in both Mandarin and Korean.

From the song, it can be perceived that their love last for thousand years and they still wait for each other in different time dimensions(worlds) despite all obstacles.

I'm gonna watch this movie after my exam, for sure. The song has triggered my inquisitiveness to ask for more. A very successful promotion, indeed :)

Btw, tomorrow or later in the afternoon, me gonna sit for the last paper for this trimester. Master Yoda: "May the force be with you, my young Jedi"

Then, hu la hu la here I come my dear holidays!

P/s: Will upload the song lyrics if time allowable :D

Out of our mind

Just now…err…9 to 10 pm to be precise, SweeWon let me and YingHan watched a music video clip. It’s all about “hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha…” nonstop by four little girls, while shaking their heads. In between, I reckoned there’re 2 cold jokes:

1. “Why you’re taking my toothbrush? Do you know that taking other’s toothbrush to brush teeth is very impolite?” “I didn’t brush my teeth; I’m just brushing the shoes.”

2. “I like Maths class the most.” “Why?” “Bcoz our teacher always take leaves.”

I bet those girls dunno what the hell they are “hahahhahaha” for also. In fact, while watching the video, I’m worried that when their heads are gonna shaken off accidentally.

Due to the triggers of this music video clip, the 3 of us started to singing out loud, laughing out loud at each other, talking whatever craps that were in our mind, jumping up and down….until the guard came to knock on our door and slapped us on our foot. Then for sure we’re very angry and slapped the guard back, tied her up with bed sheet and locked her in our cupboard.

K lah, am just fooling around. There was no guard wahahahhaha >:p

We then sang happily, to name but a few: Nah si gua uh ji pa ban (If I have 1 million), Ai pia cha eh yia (Struggle only can win), the “hahahhahahhhaha…”, primary school’s songs – elephant nose song/frog song, 上海滩 “浪…奔……浪…流……”, etc etc I forgot others.

Actually, it was me and Yinghan singing most of the time, coz SweeWon dunno Hokkien, and she’s too stingy to share her lovely voice >:) Just joking, she’s 斯文有礼 and still can keep her cool in such a disastrous environment, whereas me and Yinghan lost our head d :p Sorry ahh Yinghan, I didn't meant to tell the truth *sob sobb*, but I'm a good girl :"> hehe

Frankly, this is one of the good ways to release stress, esp during this deadly tensed study-exam week. I think we had in one way or another laughed out our tension feeling.

I shall take my leave for now *bow* *waves hand*

P/s: Good girl tells no lies, except some white lies, ahemmm...

Wednesday, September 21, 2005

What more can I say huh?

This freaking year I’ve encountered certain new you-would-never-want-to-meet experience of staying in the girls’ hostel, which I’ve never met in the past 2 years.

Firstly, there’s someone pouring down water from the window above my floor and hit my table, my monitor near my window. I can’t move away my table coz it’s fixed. Damn it! I think that girl has a bird brain. And when the brain commands “Hey you moron, go on, go on, pour the water down from the window. Yeah, that’s the way it is, brilliant girl!”, then she would pour the water without any procrastination. Poor thing, being control by her bird brain.

Then, just now in the dawn, there’s another moron with prawn brain staying below my floor blast her speaker so loud that the whole Cyberjaya campus can hear. Sounds unbelievable? You better do. Actually the sound came up to our room window through her window. It’s some kind of video clips with Ang Moh cracking jokes that I would definitely not appreciate it in the middle of the night. So, can you imagine how loud that girl is opening her speaker?! Swee Won did go down and knocked her door, but you know, that moron’s prawn brain demanded that moron to ignore and keep on rocking with the loud sound.

Come on, why there’re increasingly so many inconsiderate humans? For god sake, please think for others lah.

P/s: Please forgive me for insulting the bird and the prawn O:-) *angelic look*

Last Week Preview

As expected, I spent most of my time in the labs again.

My 1st PCB board isn’t that satisfying – there’re a lot of small disconnections, which have to be re-connected manually by using the soldering iron. This happened due to my inexperienced first-time PCB fabrication, can’t expect much from me, right?!

So, I decided to fabricate another PCB. This time around, the lab technician was annoyed and lazy (I’m telling nothing but the truth *cross ma heart muahahhahahaha*) already.
He asked us to “sek ji kei” a.k.a. EAT OURSELVES!!

He helped us to laminate our PCBs (there’re a few of us, including a final year student) and we were on our own from there onwards. Then, he just went “kai kai”. We proceeded with the UV light – placing a layer of photoresist on our PCBs. We’re troubled by how many seconds we should put for the photoresist thingy :”> *maklumlah kan?*

Next, we went on with the Developer Tank and the Etcher Tank. These 2 processes required a lot of attention and patient. We had to keep on “nurturing” our PCBs from time to time, worrying that the PCBs might over-develop or over-etch. If either of this happens, then the PCBs are declared KO already! Which means -- you have to START EVERYTHING all over again! Gosh, imagine that *head spinning with full kinetic energy*

Fortunately we didn’t blow up the two tanks *giggles heeheeheeheee* It contains some acidity chemical substances, don't play play!

Finally, we’re ready for the Stripper process to remove the photoresist on our PCBs. We just throw our PCBs into the Stripper Tank and went for lunch. Oops, not that we didn’t care about it anymore, but this last process took time. So, be patient lah, go have a cup of coffee or something lah!

Went to get my PCB at the afternoon. Although it still has some “weaknesses”, nevertheless I’ll “sayang” it with all my heart, just like my own child (but hey I have no child okay :)))

How I “sayang” it? I drilled holes on it…to put components’ legs mah, hehe. Then I solder it under an extremely hot temperature. No abuse here.

At last, my Infrared MODEM was born! There’s too many sweet & sour in the producing of this MODEM, which I could only cried it to myself :((

Now…The time for Basic Law midterm came – 26 August 2005 (last Friday).

After the test, we’re in to the PCB evaluation today (Monday) afternoon, followed by the Intro to Power System midterm just now.

Luckily my PCB can work *whew* However, I was very disappointed with the test just now. None of the question which I’m 100% sure knows how to do.

But, now I have to look forward – tomorrow I got a morning lab session. Next, there’s a very stressful assignment to be submitted on coming Friday, while another due on coming Monday.

K lah, I’ve blurted out briefly the “4 seasons’ tastes” I’ve gone through all these while --- sweet, sour, spicy, salty…

It must have been an awfully “delicious” meal! Wana get some try?? ;;)

I moved to lab(s)

Some brief fresh back about this whole week:

Monday afternoon 2-5pm -- went to Project Lab 1 for Mini Project, as usual.

Tuesday morning 9-12noon -- DTL1 at Telecommunications Lab

Tuesday afternoon 2pm onwards -- heading to PCB lab to fabricate the PCB; waited there doing nothing until at about 4pm. Guess what?! The lab technician brought us great news -> COME TOMORROW, coz he can’t handle so many “businesses” at one time. Feeling a bit annoyed.

Wednesday morning 9am onwards -- sit patiently inside the PCB lab until 10:15am for our turn to start fabricating our PCB. Can’t complain!

Wednesday 2pm -- went to PCB lab again to get our ready-PCB. Didn’t get the chance to drill though.

Thursday 9am -- Again, crawled tiredly to PCB lab for PCB holes drilling. Waited until 10 something still didn’t get a touch on the drilling machine, what an irony!! Aggravated and left the lab.

Thursday 2-4:30pm -- EPM1 at Energy System Lab.

Friday 9-12noon -- went for Mini Project at Project Lab 1, as usual, again.

I’ve already moved my bed and my pillows to the lab.
Ohh, my home my dear lab(s) *puke blood*

Darn, this is a so freaking ill experience of spending my whole week in the labs.
Bitting nails…*labs phobia*

Guess this horrible thing close the curtain here? I can assure you it’s a no no no!

I can foresee that – my next week will be spent in the labs as well.

Curse’em…

Acquitted

Finally…

We are freed from the “Prison of Haze” in Cyberjaya, thanks to the mercy of the WIND that blows it away.

The wind is definitely a fair “judge” that know we’re innocent and we don’t deserved all those haze. Thus, his Honour decided to do us justice.

Although the initial intention is to pray for the rain, but instead came the almighty wind! But who cares?! The objective is identical – chase away the “intruder from Indonesia” – HAZE!! *punch punch*

Wow, fresh air, fresh air…outside my windows *deep deep breaths greedily*

It feels so good! Never better in fact ;)

Haze Updates

Putrajaya recorded an Air Pollution Index of 224 at noon today, and 337 at 5pm. The situation is so worse that the visibility is very very poor, and we have to breathe in the smoke and haze, not oxygen.

Click for Air Pollution Index nation wide by TheSTAR online

This virtually brings me back to many years ago, 1997, in Kuching. That time Kuching was experiencing the Air Pollution Index of 600 over, and the residents were nearly evacuated. I was in Form1 then, the school was closed for one week. I can remember vaguely that when I looked out from my house, it was like the clouds had landed on the earth, the surrounding was all white, hardly saw anything.

Oh ya, our University’s President issued this announcement this evening:

Leave for Cyberjaya Campus

Assalamualaikum/Good Day,

Dear VPs/Deans,

This is to inform that I am declaring the Cyberjaya Campus to be closed for two days (11th & 12th August 2005) because of the worsening haze condition. The API index is now 197, 3 points below the critical level. The unhealthy level is 100-200. Above 200 is critical. All staff and students are hereby given leave for the 2 days.

The Melaka Campus shall operate normally.

Kindly take note.

This news goes around the whole campus with a speed of light; forwarded messages in YM were unstoppable.
We’re discussing whether our Communication Networks’ midterm test on today 8-9pm was cancelled or not, until the coordinator of the subject posted a message:

By: XXX Date Posted: 10-08-2005

Midterm Exam : Midterm exam tonight is still ON!!!!!

I bet he was getting mad at those emails that flooded his mail box and non-stop calls that bombing his office at that instant :p Poor thing, he must be very busy answering questions then.

After the test, we came back and found out that all midterm exams which fall on these 2 days were postponed. It means -- our Introduction to Power System’s midterm on 11th August & Basic Law’s midterm on 12th August were procrastinated to latter dates.

Starting from tomorrow until Sunday, I’ll have 4 days holidays.
Hopefully the haze won’t get worsen any further, coz it’s really unbearable!

Involuntary Suicide

Lately Cyberjaya is being loved by the irresistible hazeeeeee!
Ya right, lovely…

WHy irresistible?? Simply bcoz we can’t sweep it away b-( Super-duper-darn stupid “intruder” hhpfffff >:p

This brother haze is causing the surrounding seems like full of fog. You know, just like in Genting. In fact, it’s smoke that can kill. It affects our breathing system, making us prone to running nose. My eyes even felt pain, thanks to the haze that is filling each and every centimeter, milimeter, micrometer (you name it) areas in Cyberjaya.

I bet if we X-ray our lung, it’ll look like a piece of charcoal inside our body, hehe…

Some more, the temperature is extremely HOT…See, we have to bear with the smoky air, the hot days & nights, the tons of exams & assignments, the boring lectures, the foods…Ahhh, I lost count.

The haze is killing us slowly. Involuntarily. So, please don’t be surprised if you bump into news saying “Cyberjaya’s resident(s) died of sucking-in excessive amount of HAZE”.

Beware! The silent irresistible killer is hunting around *evil devil grin*

Midnight...

The rain is pouring fiercely right now. I can see it hits the windows without any mercy, in front of me. It seems like trying to find a path to storm into my room and destructs things as it likes.

Hmmm…

Why am I talking about raining? Have no idea, really!

Oh shit!! I see my clothes being hit by the rain. Guess I’ve chose the wrong time to wash it. Well, I can do nothing. Will let the sun do his job tomorrow.

Why sun is a “he”?? Perhaps it’s due to the powerful bright sunshine that similar to the characteristic of a man :>

Then I suppose the moon is a “she”, best suits her soft and sweet moonlight ;) Just like an irresistible charismatic woman.

Hey Flo!! What are you doing? You’re supposed to be studying! (am shouting to myself)
Ohh, forgive me please :-S Have lost interest in the notes.
Excuses! [-X Now shoo back to notes!
Alright alright, as you wish My Lady.

What are you laughing there? Get back to work [-(

>:p hehe just kidding. Peace! :-”

Integration of Events

Many incidents happened lately, don’t know where to start. Though I have a lot of thinking in my mind, but I just couldn’t find the “strength” to write. Nevermind, here we go…(the events are not in order)

Some time ago, I found a funny video in a blog --- a video which cast by three MMU students, with the Numa-numa song and dance. A few days ago me and my friends finally saw one of the Numa-numa guy in the campus. I first noted his face which looks familiar. I told my friends something like this --- “Look, is he the guy in the Numa-numa video?” (in Mandarin, quite loud some more) and we all just stared at him until he looked very paiseh. Don’t know for what reason we all naturally thought that he is Malay, probably due to his darker complexion. The next day, I met him again, and he was speaking Chinese dialect :O *shock* This time I’m the one who felt extraordinary (just exaggerating) paiseh :”> *blush blush* But, after all we're just admiring their creativity in that video, no offense done *shrug*

We, five girls rented a car to go out. Ying Xuan drove us to our first destination – The Mines. Ying Xuan, Hanni and I cut our hair at the Express Cut. Not much change to Hanni’s hair, mine were a lot shorter, while Ying Xuan looks younger :))

Next, we proceeded to Alamanda. This time, Swee Won was driving, as agreed by all of us before that we took turn to drive. Swee Won and Ming Yih cut their hair while the three of us wandering around :p Not much change to Swee Won’s hair as well, but Ming Yih experienced a vast change – she looks cute, especially when she’s smiling naughtily *nothing really naughty lah* wahahhahaha >:)

I’m the one who drove back to Cyberjaya. At the Exit, the car is too far from the ticket’s machine, so I had to open the door to insert it. I forgot to put to free gear while letting go the clutch pedal --- the car engine off with the car seemed like fly to the front. This caused the first wave of shock to the girls :)) Then, everything went smoothly until I reached a junction where I’m supposed to go straight and wait at the traffic light and turn right. But at first I tried to turn left, then they quickly said “straight straight straight. So I moved straight and for god sake I didn’t notice the RED light!! I could only heard Ying Xuan, Ming Yih and Hanni who sit behind shouted “STOP! RED LIGHT!” I braked in a sudden and due to inertia, the three of them were swing to the front and back. This caused the second wave of shock! Ehehehhehehe :”> Please forgive this inexperience two months licensed driver on the road :p

I better stop here. Gonna have Digital Telephony’s midterm this coming Thurs (28 July) and going back home for one week midterm break.

Bye bye and Good Night!

Tired

Suddenly, I feel the interaction between human is very tiring.

It’s impossible to know exactly what others are thinking.

It feels like psychological tug-of-wars between humans. I feel tired in my heart and my mind *sigh* Disappointed.

Sometimes how I wish I can ignore every little thing in this world and do whatsoever that is in my mind. But, life…what a life!

Is this gonna continue? Have no idea when I’ll lose my faith.

乌龙's Continuum

On Tuesday, after we (Francis, Won & I) collected the certificates from MBR, we went for lunner (lunch + dinner) at McD.

I ordered a RM6.83 meal, and paid RM50.83 to the cashier. After getting my meal, I chit-chatted a while with both Francis & Won at the counter. Then I proceeded to sit down and enjoy my burger.

Suddenly, Francis walked over towards me (laughing with choke) and handed me RM44.

OMG!

I DARE to FORGOT my money change!

Next time do join me for meals, perhaps you’ll earn extra money easily *giggles*
No joke!

乌龙 乌龙 乌龙

Last Wednesday, I did a hilarious thingy.

I saw the lecturer and some friends of mine inside the class, thus without thinking twice, I stormed in. Yes, without any hesitation! I noticed strange “air” while I’m walking in, everyone was looking at me, as if I’m an alien. Mentally it’s true I guess, since my mind floated away to outer space.

I ignored it and walked straight to the behind. Found a corner seat for myself and sit down. By now, I already realized that I’ve entered the class before mine. Gosh!!

Well, I don’t want to add more attention (more to embarrassment *blushing*) by walking out, I decided to just sit there.

Lucky me the lecturer didn’t sweep me out for interrupting her teaching *whew*
Instead, she ended her class in the next second.

My friends all laughed at my blurriness, or stupidity?

“Flo flo, your class ended d right? Why you’re still here?”
“Wow, I’m amused by your bravery.”
“There’re many ppl waiting outside, you didn’t notice meh?”
“You’re so hardworking lah, attend the class twice.”

Every sentence was accompanied by laughter.
Well, guess I’m potentially the next Jim Carrey?!

I just hope that I won’t have phobia attending this subject’s classes ever since this incident.

Oh, I’m incurable乌龙!

So Long

Aloha! I’m once again back in the blogosphere .

Exams.

Holidays, a long one. As usual, eat-sleep-TV-eat-sleep-TV…infinitely.

Just got my driving license.

Semester break ended. Back to campus.

Attend lectures, re-burry in notes/books, prepare for a real super-duper busy semester.

Going to do a mini project, constructing Low-Cost-Infrared-Wireless-Modem. For the understanding of the circuits’ flow and every function of the circuit parts, we, have no choice, but to re-find, re-read, and re-study the Electronics book that we took for granted during our first year studies #_#

Now, I’m blogging. I know you know it.

Chaoz for the moment. Continue other time.

Long live…long life…live long! Yeah!!

Shut up!!

Guys, pls shut up will ya?

Talking non-stop in library is totally disrespectful to the others. Keep on po pek po pek like there’s no tomorrow to talk again. Pls find other places should you really can’t control your mouths, or do sth else to distract yourselves. Chew your books/notes?

Else, I suggest the library management to implement these actions:

Firstly: Setup red spotlights above every seats, which can sense noise, like those lights in the high class residential areas. These spotlights have high electrons emission rates, which might kill some of the talkative cells when being shined upon. And, a hammer-like device will comes down and knock on the head of the noisy mouth. When guards notice certain someone is under the light, they shall come and usher him/her to the library entrance, and kick. Hehe, just kidding! Chase out only. Anyone who offended the red spotlights more than 3 times will be banned from entering the library for 1 month. While regular offenders shall be banned forever!

Secondly: Uses special punishment chairs, which are able to sense noise as well. When somebody is too noisy, the chair will automatically shoot up and the person will fly up, and down. You know, like projectile motion, up and down; may be we should accompany this incident with “Up and Down” from Vengaboys. The person might eventually bang his/her face on the table. Well, this incident is similar to the effects of being kicked by a horse when it does not allow someone to ride on it. Get what I mean? I bet anyone who tried this will never dare to offend the chairs again.

Thirdly: Change all the sign boards in the library from “Silence! & Index finger on mouth” to “Shut up! & show the Universal Recognized Finger” People will only behave when they see vulgar words and signs. They love it!

Meanwhile, when the red spotlights and chairs are punishing the talkative(s), others will be stunned and wouldn’t dare to let out any single bit of sound.

Silence. Peace. Tranquility. Comfy. Yeah, study!

Now, I feel better.

P/s: Met some non-stop talkers in library today.

The end of the MEAT?

In a restaurant, a waitress approaches a bunch of customers…

Waitress : Sir(s), may I place your order please?

Customer1 : Well, could you please recommend us some famous dishes?

Waitress : Would you like to try the Four Seasons Chicken?

Customer2 : Chicken? No no! You see, now the avian flu is spreading, better don’t eat. Dangerous ah.

Others nodded in agreement.

Waitress : Alright. How about BBQ Seafood?

Customer3 : What?! You want us to eat seafood? Are you nuts? Tsunami just over not long ago, hundreds of thousands corpses are floated on the sea. Don’t know those fishes, crabs and sotongs are safe for consumption or not.

Others : Yaloh yaloh.

Waitress : *A bit annoyed* Well, is Black Pepper Pork suits your taste?

Customer4 : NAh, we aren’t gonna eat that too. The JE (Japanese Encephalitis) disease is so scary. Can die one ah!

Others : Ya ohh.

Waitress : *Aggravated* Then would you all like to try Sizzling Cow?

Customer5 : No no no! In US ah, there’s mad cow disease. If we eat it, later we become like mad cow langgar here and there then how? You bayar ganti rugi kah?

Customer1 : So, any other food you can recommend?

Waitress : *Frustrated* YES! I recommend you all to 吃自己 a.k.a. eat yourselves! Banyak macam! *leave*

Customer 1,2,3,4 & 5 : *stunned* Mouths open wide enough to put in a watermelon.

Note: The magic words!

So, are we humans, gonna out of meat supplies someday? Since there are a number of meat-related-diseases emerge from time to time. Let’s pray for that day will never come!

Vengeance

On the night before my Data Communication final, I slept for 2 hours, only.

After the exam, I took 2 separate naps, in total 3 hours, only.

At night, I tried to study for Information Theory, but I can’t input much. Kept on feeling dizzy and little headache.

Eventually, went to bed at 11:30pm and woke up at 3pm today! Gosh, it’s 15 hours ++! Sleeping for revenge LOL

But think back, the total sleeping hours in 2 days are 20 hours. So, 20 hours/2 days = 10 hours/day. Quite normal isn’t it?

Replacing the sleeping hours for the day before on the day after is very common during exams weeks. Confused with what I’m saying? Nevermind. Just go to sleep and you will get enlighten, perhaps.

I always motivate myself with this sentence whenever I feel like going to sleep: “Keep on study, you can sleep kao kao after the exam.” Yeah!

Zhou Gong blesses us!

P/s: Being under pressured and can’t get enough of sleep for almost 2 weeks now, so I’m not really the ordinary me. Still a few more tense days to go, before I go to Melaka and then back hometown for 2 months holidays. Melaka pasar malam, dim sum, Jia Jia, RSU/BBU, VJN, Char Siew Fan, friends…I’m coming!!! Waahahhahahhaha…… Ohh yeah, not to forget Kolo mee and mama’s cooking *drooling*

Btw, did I lari tajuk? Don’t care.

Assignment gone?!

Yesterday night,

Notice posted in mmls (Multimedia Learning System):
Assignment - Urgent : We didn't receive the assignment from the following students: 10111xxxxx; 10311xxxxx; 10211xxxxx; 10211xxxxx; 10311xxxxx; 10102xxxxx; 10211xxxxx. Pls. come and meet the lecturer ASAP!!
*last 5 digits sealed for confidentiality, ahah*

I was so LUCKY to be one of those students. Kena loteri also not so cun. :-L Oh ya, Won also as “lucky” as me ;)) Wonder why the both of us always boarding the same ship har? Anyway, two people scared together at least are better than scared alone :))

The disastrous news made me lost my “appetites” to study immediately. Scared, frustrated, angry, worried, anxious…basically everything rojak together in my poor “boom” brain.

15 marks and I get an egg (0%), after a long-exhausted sleepless night struggling to finish it?? Anything else worse than this? I just had a sudden urge to go kick the lecturers, ehem *pardon me please, thank you*

This early morning I went to meet the lecturer with Won. Before that, we actually went to double check the lecturer’s pigeon hole, to ensure that we didn’t drop our assignments into the wrong hole *grin*. Yeah, may be we just so happened to be “kok-eyed” and dropped it wrongly *lalallallalallaala*.

Inside the lecturer’s office:

Me: Sir, we came regarding our assignments.

Sir: What is your ID number?

Won: bla bla bla and bla bla bla.

Sir: Ohh, your assignments have been found. Prof so-and-so has just email me 1 minute ago saying that.

We: Wooooooooooooooove!! *totally relieved* Luckily *Pat pat our fragile hearts*. Thank you so much sir! We were very worried until just now.

Sir: No worries, no worries. As long as you did the assignments according to the standard, the marks should be no problem.

Won: I can’t study last night *showing the kolian face*.

Me: Yeah, and I can’t sleep *a bit exaggerated to pok tong qing*.

Sir: *Laughing until his head fall in between his ankles, no kidding* Hahahaha…don’t worry. Just focus on your finals. Your assignment marks will be uploaded later.

We: Thank you sir! Bye bye sir.

P/s to lecturers: Next time please check thoroughly-wholly-completely-error freely, then only proceed to the last resort of announcing the thunderstruck news. It might cause us heart attacks you know?!

What a belated-April-Fool’s joke!

April Fool's huh??

A so called April Fool’s joke sent to my handphone had actually woke me up from my nap, before my alarm rang *frustrated* What a joke?! I don’t feel funny at all.

I felt tired (body & mind), therefore I sleep to have a clearer mind, so that I can concentrate in my studies. And this sms just happened to spoil everything! My sleep, my mood, my mind…

Happy April Fool’s day?? Really fool! Now that you’ve been succeeded in causing all those fusses, are you happy now? *referring to “my friend”* Although “my friend” might never get the chance to visit my blog, but just wrote this as a channel to release my dissatisfaction.

A prank that can cause the victim to laugh their head off is a good prank. Otherwise, it’s just a fool lame joke. Please don’t torture others with the stupid jokes, instead please keep it to yourself and enjoy yourself.

Everyday can be an April Fool’s day, as long as the timing you choose is appropriate. Never ever pull your friends’ leg when they’re having problems, busy with something important, emotional swings etc. Else, your friend(s) might get irritated and annoyed. Just like in my own case.

Pissed / Peace off! Stay away from me. *Pardon me*

A Con

Simple Random Walk

How would you decipher the above three words?

Before that, interpretations from Oxford Advanced Learning’s Dictionary:
Simple – easily done or understood; not causing difficulty

Random – done, chosen, etc without method or conscious choice

Walk 1 – (of a person) to move along at a slow or moderate pace by lifting up and putting down each foot in turn

Walk 2 – a journey on foot, esp for pleasure or exercise

Combined: a journey on foot for pleasure which was done easily and without conscious

#1 Words uttered by macho travelers who leaved their foot steps everywhere around the world?

#2 Words uttered by elderly who love to stroll in a park?

#3 Words uttered by couples who walk romantically hand in hand on the streets at the middle of the night/in the rain?

NO for #1.

NO again for #2.

And, NO AGAIN for #3.

Then? What in the earth is it?

For your information, it’s a MATHEMATICAL TERM in StOchAstic Processes in Engineering MAths *SUrpRise*

Explanation: Let Xn be a random variable denoting the position at time n of a moving particle (n=0,1,2,3,…). The particle will move around the integer {…,-2,-1,0,1,2,…}. For every single point of the time, there is a jump of one step for the particle with probability 1/2 (a jump could be upwards or downwards). Those jumps at time n=1,2,3,… are being independent. This process is called Simple Random Walk.

P/s: Posting this out of boredom for the 106 pages of notes, which seems like I’m never gonna finish studying until eternity. Just trying to trigger your brain cells *devil evil grin, blekkk*

Earthquake

The moment (approximately 12:13am)

I was sitting at my chair (both feet on the ground) when I felt the earth tremors. I thought I was having some kind of headache and dizziness, as I was just waking up from my nap.

I then looked at my roommates (kf & cyn), they also looked at me, three of us with the blank look *what happened?*

Kf then told me that she also thought that she had have some “head spinning” because of overdose use of brain power.

Cyn told us that she thought either one of us was shaking her chair (both her feet on chair) violently in order to call her.

But, apparently our room was shaking. I can felt as if I was boarding a board or ship. The shakiness was so obvious. And at that moment, all of us were like throwing our final exams to the back of our brain --- the hottest thing is the Earthquake!

My neighbour told me that her roommate’s monitor was “trembling” as well.

Consequences afterwards

News came that Northern Sumatera was hit by an Earthquake of magnitude 8.2

There were about 1000++ casualties reported.

Most states in Peninsular felt the tremors.

I’ve called my mom back in Sarawak, but she felt nothing. Probably her sweet dreams covered everything.

Residents of high-rise buildings were evacuated. For instance, Cyberia condos which were accommodated by majority of MMU students.

More news:
Preliminary Earthquake Report
Map of Earthquake locations
Earthquakes from around the World
Strong Quake Hits Indonesia Coast

A prediction that another Tsunami is on its way *nail-biting* gagagaga

Shit! I felt the earth shakes again at 3:32am. *scare*
I wasn’t dreaming…

Course Registration WAR

26th March 2005 --- a beautiful Saturday --- the day for Gamma Engineering students to do pre-course registration for next semester’s subjects.

I purposely crawled up from my darling bed at 8:35am, as the registration was opened at 9am. Early birdies get the worms; early students get the sui sui (beautiful) time table! *giggles*

Waiting eagerly in front of my monitor and trying n-times to login, wanna be the first as the network always get congested during registration period. Managed to login at 9am past 1 or 2 minutes, and zoomed to register for Mini Project first. This subject only open to 100 students :-S

Proceeded with other subjects, but failed to registered :-& *frustrated*

Sentences that kept on coming out from my mouth:

“Arggghhhhh….why cannot register one?”

“Ahhhh…got d got d, hahahhahahha!”

“Why I haven’t choose the tutorial class but I got it d??” “Wahahaha, this system so good one :))” *blur*

“Why this stupid network so lag one? :-L Always cannot find server. Grrrrrrr!!”

“Cannot register ahhh!!! The tutorial class full d. :(”

And the list goes on…

I’m not mumbling to myself, k?! I’m complaining to both my roommates :))
One of them was wondering why I woke up so early, this isn’t the usual me. I always sleep with unbounded time limit, and this was a raining Saturday morning, the bed is so cozy to sleep *huggies* But today was pre-course registration! You see, if i get a good schedule, it certainly promises lots of good time sleeps on next semester *grin* Yo lookahead man, lookahead!

A special thanks to Francis
a.k.a. fancheong for helping me to register a few of my subjects. He’s the one that helped me to choose the tutorial class :p Not the “superb” system! ^:)^ *bow bow* Arigatou Gazaimasta!

Most of us get the time table that we desired. Hooray! Hopefully it will go as smooth as abalone *copyrighted by Swee Won
a.k.a. 15 pig pig :p* for our more to come registrations on each successive semester.

Descriptionless

Just couldn’t stand of not posting this article, though I’m supposed to be on my bed already.

Well, some people just tend to borrow lab reports or assignments from their friends. Just simply because of one sentence --- “I don’t know how to do.”, and the whole piece of the friends’ hard work is on their hands. These people aren’t moron, they do have the brain, but they refuse to use it. I wonder why? I really feel like punch them on the face, and kick them on the arse! *Pardon me*

If they don’t know how to do the questions, they can always seek helps from their friends who know it. The friends will more than willing to explain the way to solve the problems, and help them to understand the question. (Unless the friends are selfish *you get what I mean*) Isn’t this is a better way to learn? If they just copy, they learnt not a bit!

Frankly, I would rather teach somebody how to fish, instead of giving him/her my own fish. What’s left for me to eat if I’ve given him/her my fish?! And, the next time they would come again asking for more fishes, because they don’t know the way of fishing.

Furthermore, should the lecturers caught on plagiarism --- due to some irresponsible fools who copied from head-to-tail, and from tail-back-to-head, there’s a possibility that both parties (the one who copy & the one who let people copy) might get half of the marks only, or even zero! If this happen, I’m sure the friendship won’t be as firm as before.

The purpose of assignments and lab reports are to help students to understand more deeply about certain knowledge of a subject. However, nowadays this purpose is not only unfulfilled, instead it has enhanced the skills of “copy smartly” among the students. This is definitely not a phenomenon that the lecturers would favor.

If this scenario is not condemned, I wonder what is the purpose of continually giving out assignments?! After all, all he/she needs to do is just to get a copy of an assignment, modify it smartly and submit. As easy as ABC! And the next thing we noticed is that the institutions are actually kept on producing a bunch of smart copy cats who love to keep their brains as antique!

Luckily

woooo...finally!
AFter injected my blog with some "excitation energy" --- the previous calling article, it finally re-appear #:-S *Whew, relieved*

Paiseh for my "so de flowery" words in my previous post. Was eagerly wanted my blog to back again, that's why... :">

WHERE IS MY BLOG??

@#$$%&@*$^((#
Shit! WHy I can't view my blog? Where it has gone? Heaven? Hell?
Ma ma mia ia...I WANT IT BACK!!!

Back to mama, fast fast come...
Pleasseeeeeeeeess *hands & legs on da floor* ^:)^

Innocence left

Yesterday while I’m waiting for my “take-away” dinner, I heard some chit-chatting between two little sisters (I presumed that they’re girl from what I observed :p). Both of them are below age of 10.

They’re talking about some of their academic stuffs.
T - Translation

Elder sis : Bahasa English sudah. (Talking to her sis yet seemed like mumbling to herself)
(T: English already done.)

Little sis : Satu tambah dua tambah tiga…
(T: One plus two plus three…)

Elder sis : Itu Matematik. Matematik sudah.
(T: That’s Mathematics. Mathematics done)

Elder sis : Tiger “harimau” kah “buaya”?
(T: Tiger is tiger *baka translation :))* or crocodile?)

Little sis : Errmm…harimau.
(T: Errmm…tiger.)

Elder sis : Betul. Elephant “monyet” kah “gajah”?
(T: Correct. Elephant is monkey or elephant? *once again, redundant [-(*)

Little sis : Gajah.
(T: Elephant.)

Elder sis : Betul.
(T: Correct.)

Well, you might wonder why the hell am I keep an ear on their conversation. The reason is --- I got nothing to do at that moment!! Too boring and too free while waiting for my dinner. And, their conversation actually interests me. It leads me back to my childhood times.

I still remember I used to imitate teacher’s role giving lessons to my little siblings. Getting them sat in front of the “white board”, taught them and asked them questions. LOL.

Pieces from “Yesterday Once More” by Carpenters:
"Lookin' back on how it was
In years gone by
And the good times that I had
Makes today seem rather sad
So much has changed.
---------
Those old melodies
Still sound so good to me
As they melt the years away."

Recycle Bin

The “Recycle Bin” is undoubtedly a very common term in a computer. Those no longer wanted files/pictures/songs/documents that we have deleted will end up in the Recycle Bin. Then we can sentenced those items to death --- delete permanently from our computer hard disk. It’s simply convenient and easy, isn’t it?!

Ever wonder what if there’s a Recycle Bin in our brain?? Where we can delete certain incident(s)/people permanently from our memory…how nice it would be?! We remember not a bit of the incidents that we chose to “delete”. Usually these incidents are those that cause big impact on our life and our self. We might have been hurt tremendously, either physically or mentally, which would leave incurable psychological effects in our heart and our mind for life long. This is seemingly like “invisible assaulting” that no other party(s) can understand thoroughly, including the professional psychologists.

Let’s take the most recent example --- those people who survived the 26th December 2005 Tsunami. Most of them are still living in fear and anxiety, going through sleepless nights due to depressions, waking up crying in the middle of the night from nightmares that haunt them endlessly etc. Some of them are still surrounded by corpses, which might be their beloved one, neighbours and friends. These feelings are unbearable. I bet any homo sapiens would undergone hysterical or turned insane under this circumstances!

Other examples which I can think of are sexually assaulted victims, ex-hostages, war victims, (dump by bf/gf??) and many more. All these people have gone through certain level of physical and mental tortures, which they would rather not at all remember it than carry it in their memories/heart for the rest of their life.

Therefore, it would be the best to erase all these painful memories from the brain :) We can start a new life from here onwards, towards a better tomorrow. Meanwhile, by erasing all these unwanted yet unbeneficial memories, we are actually providing more empty spaces in our brain for other purposes, e.g. study --- memorize formulas, facts, definitions *arrggghhhh, I just hate doing this b-(*

P/s: Guys and girls, please kindly ignore my advice on brain purpose for studying :)) Instead, jam your brain spaces with more lengzais/lengluis images…muahahhahahaha :p

“Welcome to my life”

A quote from song lyrics :
“Do you ever feel like breaking down? Do you ever feel out of place? Like somehow you just don't belong And no one understands you Do you ever wanna runaway? Do you lock yourself in your room? With the radio on turned up so loud That no one hears you screaming

No you don't know what it's like When nothing feels all right You don't know what it's like To be like me To be hurt To feel lost To be left out in the dark To be kicked when you're down To feel like you've been pushed around To be on the edge of breaking down And no one's there to save you No you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life

Do you wanna be somebody else? Are you sick of feeling so left out? Are you desperate to find something more? Before your life is over Are you stuck inside a world you hate? Are you sick of everyone around? With their big fake smiles and stupid lies While deep inside you're bleeding”

The song lyrics pointed out so straight that our hearts can hardly bear it when we’re hurt deep down inside, and no one seems to understand.

It often happens that we’re out of hand about some obstacles in our life, be it relationships (friendships/love/family), works, financial, studies etc. We just simply can’t help but to feel depressed, disappointed, frustrated, angered and other inexpressible emotions. We felt hopeless, seems like there’s no one by our side. And, things get even worse when the people around you wouldn’t help out, instead they “stepped” on you harder when you “fell down”. Sounds ridiculous? Think again.

But what I wanna say here is, no matter how hard you fell, and how hard the people stepped on you…just re-gather all your strength, your will power, and stand up! Fight the weaknesses within you and erect a solid ground upon where you’re standing. Show to the people that they had failed to knock you down! In fact, you’re standing even more soundly than you’ve ever had.

And, never let the people influence or weaken your thinking and confidence. Let them say/do whatever they want, just ignores them. They don’t deserve your attention. If they happened to go over the boundary, warn them sternly that they’ve made a terrible mistake by choosing you as their “prey”. Ask them to back off before you turn wild.

Often, we care too much about what and/or how others think about our acts, until we forget that we’re supposed to live for our self. What seems best for others doesn’t necessary suits us well. Thus, just remember : do things for yourself, not to prove to other people!

Life can never be perfect. It is these imperfections that make our life alive and challenging, and differentiate our path with others’.

*Specially dedicated to my dearest friend. May your life be cherished forever and always.*

fyp

final year project a.k.a. fyp is the famous term among the final year students.

A little background of fyp:
Each academic year consists of 3 trimesters --- Trimester I, II & III. On final year (the 4th year for Engineering students), the fyp will be on the Tri I & III respectively, which carry a total of 10 credit hours :-& *heavy metal*

Both my current roommates are final year students :D Each and everyday I see them busy up and down; left and right. When I’m busy with my midterm exams + assignments + lab reports, they’re busy with their fyp + stuffs; when I’m busy with nothing :p, they’re still busy with fyp-ing 8-} *faint faint*

It has reached this state where when I’m going to sleep, they’re sitting at their chair (if not table? Baka neh) and when I’m awake, they’re still sitting at their chair. They didn’t sleep? Nah, they just slept-and-woke up already.

I wonder by the time I’m fyp-ing, will I be like them? Busy like hell; desperate + frustrated when cannot get the correct outcomes; tension coz scare can’t finish on time…all these are just simply torturing --- slow killing! A gunshot on the temple would probably be better :))

However, this fyp just seems far yet near to me, there’s still 1 year++ before my turn. But, never ever look down on the speed of time; time will fly with the speed of light! Still remember during Alpha I was just fooling around with my friends and now I’m almost half of my journey towards graduation. Seems like flash/power point presentation, yeah, next slide please…

What I can do now is to wish both of my seniors all the best!

P/s : Living with seniors is a fabulous experiences indeed. We can “korek” (dig) the information about lecturers/tutors/subjects etc you name it *grin*

If you happen to pass by

A conversation between me & my friend *well, you know who you are ;)*, let’s call her A.
A : flo flo
Me : ya
A : pem test 2 result is out :-SS *nail-biting*
A : but pasted on lecturer's door

A : i sked
Me : hahaha///happen to pass by?
A : ;)) *giggles*
Me : no chance loh
A : purposely pass by
Me : mon only check lah
A : i wanna know ma :((
A : haha
Me : or if u happen to pass by, then check for me lah..
Me : :-” *whistling to sky :p*
A : i think i oni pass by my house's toilet nia
A : this weekend not going out from the house :))
Me : same lah...
Me : i pass by my 5th floor only
A : u not going to eat?
Me : eat at my room
A : oo..

NOTE : minor modification done to keep the identity sealed & btw, do check out for more emoticons on Yahoo Messenger ;) *wink wink wink* Ooh craps...muahahahaha 8-X

Lesson learnt:
# 1 Happen to pass by is totally different with “purposely” happen to pass by, my friend ;)

# 2 When a friend approached you by calling your name *sweetly*, stay alert, for he/she might up for something….ehehehhehhe

# 3 When he/she trying to “throw a ball” to you, play with him/her and “throw the ball back” nicely without hurting them >:) hiak hiak hiak

Not that "ball" ok?! Aduhh! #-o Kindly operate your head, pour some Clorox into your brain, and yeah, that might killed some germs/virus/alien/cacing inside :))

# 4 The conversation will end automatically when the both of you reached the “steady-state response” a.k.a. “boring state” wahahhahahahhaa =)) [Read on Circuit Theory to understand the steady-state response *grin*]

P/s : To my friend A, please dun piss off yeah, just sharing a little “knowledge" here :> Chat more with me lah…till our next chat L-) Cheers!

Hero

A world news on last Friday (4th March 2005) catches my eyes.
Brief descriptions : An Italy top secret agent Nicola Calipari was killed by US forces when he was protecting an Italian journalist Giuliana Sgrena on their way to Baghdad airport, after she was released by her kidnappers in Iraq. Their car has been shot when they past through a check point of US troops. Mr Calipari’s sacrifice has stunned Italy, and the entire nation was mourning over his death.

More Information:-

Body of Italy agent returns home

What amazes me the most is the selfless act of Mr. Calipari, for sacrificing himself to save Ms. Sgrena’s life. He shielded her from the “rain of fires” with his own body! Imagine, will a normal person doing that to a stranger at that critical moment?? I bet NO! Yet Mr Calipari DID!

I really salute him from the bottom of my heart. There’s never a thought before in my mind that there would be someone who is willing to sacrifice over others’ life, as there is more or less a part of selfish-soul in each human being.

Nevertheless, Mr. Calipari’s selfless act does remind us of the existence of UNSELFISH LOVES in this world, in which it is unbounded by neither anything nor anyone. May his sacrifice make those who are so eager at starting a war (for Heavens sake!) to “see the lights”. Peace for the world; not piss off the world!

May Mr. Calipari rest in peace. *mourn*

Golf club(stick)...woohoo

Just now went “long kai” (window/real shopping in shopping complex) with a few of my friends. Then, my friend who originated from Cheras brought us to “yau che hoh” (strolling around in a car) around “his territory” --- some residential areas, in a small Kancil :p Purpose --- to look at the beautiful houses and adored them :))

At a particular housing area, we suddenly saw a group of people who were holding wood sticks, broom sticks? mop stick? baseball bat? But, I’m sure there’s golf stick :> Some of us were like “what the heck happened? *see stars*

“It’s Rukun Tetangga, carried out by the residents here, as this area is not pretty safe at night”, our “Tour Guide” explained.

“Ohhh…,” replied by all “huan chu(s)” (ubi keledek) kekekkekeke

Then, [ ting ting *-:) ] an idea pop up, hohoho…>:)

Once upon a time, when Ah Beng met with Ah Pek…

Ah Beng : Eh uncle, you want to go “ta” (hit) golf ahh?

Ah Pek : No lah, want to join Rukun Tetangga, look for thieves
[feel very proud of himself while lifting his chest high up]

Ah Beng : With golf stick? Wu salah boh (Got something wrong ah)?

Ah Pek : Abuthen?! Why you look down on me ah? I’m still very strong one you know? [showing off the "lembik" hand despite muscles :p]

Ah Beng : Muahahahahhahaha =)) *ahok ahok* [choke by own laughter] I scare you’ll hurt yourself instead of beating up the thieves mah ;)) *giggles* Neh, you might hurt your back when you tried to swing the stick over the thieves :)) *ahok ahok*

Ah Pek : What?! I whack you with this stick you only know!
[temperature of water started to boil]

Ah Beng : Come lah, not that I scare, Phhhhbbt >:p
[accompanied with Bruce Lee’s famous act -- touch nose & use hand signal to ask enemy come, yeah come on babe >:/]

[Ah Pek swung the golf stick over Ah Beng, but Ah Beng managed to skip it nicely. However, poor Ah Pek had hurt his back, awwhhh…poor thing]

Ah Pek : Aiyoyo…[holding his back while groaning in pain]

Ah Beng : See see…happened already. No thief but already hurt the back. Go home jaga (nurture) your cucu (grandchild) better lah, muahahaaaahhaha =))

Ah Pek : [volcano erupted --- blood pressure shoot up frantically, face turned red & green] Grrrrrrhhh, you kurang ajar punya budak (boy who lacks of parenting)!!! Next time your kid born without butt ahh!!! [throwing slipper towards Ah Beng]

Ah Beng : I’ll marry your daughter then, bwahahahaha >:) *evil grins*

[Ah Pek got heart attack and was admitted to Tanjung Rambutan…..Oopss sorry, admitted to Hospital Besar Bla Bla Bla baru betul :p]

Childish? Cute?

Sometimes I wonder --- why there are some guys that are very childish in their behavior?! They just act in a childish way, which forms a big contrary with their real age. Yet, they think that they’re cute (I presume so), while I feel like I wanna puke :-&

Can’t they just act in a more mature way? Or in a natural way that they’re meant to be? There isn't any necessity to portray themselves in this way. Instead, just show your true self, your natural self to the outside world. That’ll be a lot more attractive than portraying your stupidity.

Meanwhile, some guys are naturally cute, without acting childish. They have the aura and charisma that make them cute in natural. The lesson --- builds up your own personality, boost your confident, be the ONE AND ONLY ONE “you” in this world. And, there you go, a charming man.

However, some guys might claim that they act in that way to preserve their young self. But, for me, to preserve our young self, there are far more interesting and meaningful alternatives out there. Firstly, we should have a young heart, but not childish heart! Think young, act young, and live life young. For example, we can take up some extra up-to-date classes. This is very common among the elderly who chose to take up computer literature class nowadays, in order to catch up with the E-world. Guys, you’re a million times younger than them!

After all, no offense here though. I’m just voicing out my thoughts. For those who “feel” it, then perhaps it’s time for a little bit of changes. Nothing is too late, as long as you’re determined. May you find the right path towards your true self.

But, if you still choose not to change, then I respect that. After all, humans do have the “freedom of choice” to live their life the way they want it to be. It’s individual right.

Despite all, here are three cheers for the maturity!!!

Inside every older person is a younger person -- wondering what the heck happened?!

Sleepless Night...

Ever since I finished my Engineering Math’s midterm test on Tuesday, I’ve actually trying to put my hand on Information Theory’s assignment. But no matter how I “looked” at the questions, there’re always new questions appearing in my brain :p And not to forget seeing a lot of stars 8-}

Some questions seemed easy, but you know, looks can be deceiving :> So whenever I wanted to do it, I’ve actually lost my direction and don’t know where to start at all! :-L Been searching through the notes, internet and don’t-know-where, but just ended up clueless. How frustrating?!

Last night we all (me and my gang of friends), the Tele students, gathered at friend’s house to do the assignments. We tried hard to solve each of the questions. One thing I would like to highlight here is about a question that required a lot of writing and carefulness. The question is about Huffman coding, where we had to write out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd order of code extensions with 3 outcomes. Well, the 3rd order has 27 combinations, and we had to construct the Huffman tree by cascading these 27 combinations. All together there were 26 stages of cascading. It really drove us nuts!! We had to be extra careful when we’re tracing the codes from the Huffman tree --- a careless mistake might led you to redo the whole thing all over again, which you will really feel like giving up :-<

There were a total of 8 questions, letting us all doing it until we’re half-dead, due to hunger and sleepless night. We started to do it at about 10pm at night, and by the time we finished, it was almost 10am in the morning. Can you imagine that?! It’s torturing, I can hardly keep my brain functioning well, and my eyes opened --- I felt like I’m a walking zombie. And all of our faces had turned greenish, which make us the best nominees for vampires, even without any make-up :))

I truly think that the assignment should be converted to a group assignment, instead of individuals. The work load is too heavy that it burdens us. Hopefully the lecturers will do us a favor in this matter in the future.

Back here --- after got back to my room at about 10am, I just “died-off” on my bed, as both my body and mind had already reached an extreme state of exhaustion. By the way, I am skipping the 10am Control Theory’s class :p Do you think I can sleep peacefully from now onwards?? Haha, NO! :-L I still had to crawl up at 2pm to finish my Information Theory’s (AGAIN) lab report. As I was in a hurry to catch the due time at 5pm, thus I just do whatever I can. Basically I have no idea what to write in my lab report, so I ended up writing a very short discussions and conclusion, without cared for whether it’s correct or not.

I rushed to campus at 4:30pm to submit both my assignment and lab report, which due at 5pm. After throwing the assignment into the tutor’s pigeon hole, and submitting the lab report, I feel I’m once again alive! L-) All the time in the world is mine again --- not belong to assignment anymore :p

Here I come my darling bed >:D< *huggzzz*

STUPID INSECTS!!!

I hate insects! Don’t really know if I had offended these insects in my past life or what?! They just happen to bite me wherever I go :-L *frustrated*

Just now I was sitting here doing my things, suddenly a painful feeling came from my right hand, the part above my elbow. My first thought was “Shit, must be some insect bite me again!” But that insect just “run away” after biting me, leaving me searching up and down for it *ANGRY*

Even until now my hand is still in pain. The wound seems a bit greenish in the center *geli* Help!

If…I mean if --- I am the Emperor of this World, I’ll definitely ensure that all these irritating insects get what they deserved --- disappear from this lovely world of mine. Perhaps I’ll deploy some special troops to hunt them down :>

Gosh, my hand is in pain! Don’t know what kind of insect is that?!! Leaving such a big biting impact X-(

Never ever let me see it again, else I will……Here’s some suspense for you guys to figure out *grin* No prizes for those who guess it correctly though :p

Arrival of Mr. Rain

Last night Mr. Rain have paid a sudden visit to this land of drought, without any prior notice *grin* Along his honorable arrival were his fellowship members --- Ms. Lightning and Mr. Thunder.

Those two had woken me up from my comfort dreamland with the lightning flashes and the fierce thunder roaring. As my monitor is placed beside the window, it’s easily being showered by Mr. Rain :p Thus, I had to come down from my upper deck to close the windows. The time was 4:44 in the early morning :> Wondering why I knew it exactly? It’s because I’ve had a glance at my handphone’s clock just before I continue to sleep :)) wahahaha *a little bit of insanity*

Anyhow, I’ve had a very cooling sleep. I can felt the cool wind blowing towards me. Though it’s quite freezing, but it’s obviously better than heat :D

Hopefully Mr. Rain will pay a constant visit every now and then! Do bring along the two companions of yours :>

Mr. Haze’s Visit

Yesterday morning when I woke up, I was stunned by the view outside my window --- I thought there were clouds outside my window *faint faint* It was so hazy that it looked almost white, seems like snow in winter time. I thought I had woken at other place, instead of my upper-deck’s bed in my hostel room; in heaven perhaps *touch wood* :))

When I breathed, I can smell the burning smell, heavily. It was that serious you see!! Although it’s been a few days of Mr. Haze’s visit, but today’s morning was the worst! Luckily there was a little Rain Boy to shoo some part of Mr. Haze away :p

The reason to this haze’s phenomena is due to the hundreds of hotspots in Peninsular Malaysia. These peat fires have caused the air-quality to deteriorate dramatically and weather became super duper hot and dry. *torturing* This drought has been estimated to continue till end of March, when inter-monsoon brings the long-awaited Mr. Rain :)>- Yeah, let Mr. Rain shower the “fire-ball”--- Mr. Earth!!

Hey Mr. Rain, we can’t wait any longer, faster comes in cats and dogs’ way :p

~~Relax! Steal a few private moments for deep breathing.~~

P/s: without breath in the haze =))

Lalalaaalalalaala…

Just now went to library with Won, after having our dinner at HB4. At first we thought that library would be very crowded, since midterm exam is around the corner. But, out of our expectation, the library was quite empty when we reached there :)>-

I started to read my Data Communications notes, while Won listened to her MP3 and studied her notes as well. We both just concentrated on our notes. Sometimes, I’ll look around at the people who were passing by, as I’m too bored of the notes :p Once in a while, we both chatted a bit.

By the time I stepped out from the library, I only managed to finish Part 1 of Chapter 1 (there are total 4 parts) :”> But I considered it as quite fast already, as I’m a well known “tortoise” among my friends, hehe…

Back to hostel at about 10pm. Then, I’m just sitting here, browsing the net. Eventually, my playlist has been added with a few nice songs, wahahhaahahha :)) So happy \:D/

But, what has been waiting ahead of me are dozens of assignments to be submitted, and not to forget, lab reports and midterm tests #:-S whew! And, all the due dates are approaching shortly, namely 25th Feb and 4th March (lab reports submissions); 26th Feb, 1st & 8th March (midterm exams); 18th & 28th Feb, 4th & 18th & 23rd March (assignments submissions). *Fainted. See stars!* 8-} God help!!

Alright, continue next time. Good night everyone! Pray for me please, thanks a million and billion :p

BACK!

Here I am, back in Cyberjaya again. Poor us, it’s just the fifth day of the Chinese New Year, and we had to leave our lovely home already. I don’t even get the chance to attend my grandma’s birthday gathering tonight :( I want ang paos!! The more the merrier \:D/ Oopss, should be the more the better :> hehe

A brief information about the current Chinese New Year : 2005 is a Rooster year, according to the Chinese lunar calendar. The rooster represents tenacity and self-confidence. Alright, I’ll cut the “crow” about the Chinese New Year :p

Feeling very bored now. Alone in my room; both my roommates haven’t come back yet. Don’t feel like studying either. So decided to just sleep!

But before that, I wish to blog for a while, after my last article 7 days ago. I’m feeling very nice when I’m thinking, typing and posting an article. There’s plenty of satisfactory and happiness right from my heart. It’s enjoyable! *syok sendiri, paiseh :”>* After all, that’s how different individual made themselves happy, right?? To seek happiness from the simplest things --- which is easy to say, hard to do *wink*

Okay, time to sleep, good night or day guys! Stay cheerful. GoNg Xi Fa CHai! Hung Pao(s) Na Lai >:) kakakakkaka...

Yeah…Going Home!

Now is 3:52am early in the morning. Later I’ll be boarding the flight at 12:30 noon to go back my hometown, Kuching. Together with me will be Won, Yinghan and Carol.

I’m very eager to see my family again. Since I came back here on last 19 Dec, it’s been almost 2 months I’ve apart from them.

I’ve finished packing earlier. Just now was busy blogging :> I managed to finish my articles about Worlds, really glad :)>-

Going home for Chinese New Year celebration is certainly a very enjoyable thing. During New Year, I get to eat a lot of delicious cookies, cakes etc. Raymond, I’m hunting for your cookies, muahahahha =))

I better go to sleep now, else tomorrow I’ll miss my flight of oversleeping :p

Happy Chinese New Year guys!!

4th January 2005 : Last Day @ Check Out!

At 7 something, me and Joanne walked to Grand Seasons Hotel (GSH) to continue the T-shirt Counter, while Hanni stayed at KLI accompanied Won.

Dengz was helping out at the counter. Later, Syark, Gabe and Pam came. Then, we saw Yauheni, a debater from Russia who stayed in KLI as well.

We: “Are you coming to take your T-shirt?”
Yauheni: “Oh no, I’ve took it yesterday night. Just came here to say good bye to a friend. You borrowed your handphone to me yesterday night, remembered? (look at me)”
Me: “Oh ya right.”

Actually last night I’ve borrowed my handphone to him for texting messages, as the phone card he bought to make international calls is being rejected by the people there.

Yauheni: “I gave him this phone card (showing it to us), but he screwed me up. You can have it if you want. By the way, can I borrow a handphone to text message?”
Me: “Ya, sure.”
Yauheni: “I will pay you.”
Me: “Nevermind. It’s okay.”

Back to here. Me and Joanne requested to take a photo with him.
We: “Can we take a photo with you?”
Yauheni: “Yeah, sure. (smiling)”

(R-L): Me, Yauheni, Joanne :)

We received Won’s call, asking us to look for Mike’s sun glasses. But, we can’t find it. Won told us that Mike was so sad of losing his sun glasses. *poor thing*

Went back to KLI at noon. Joanne went back to Cyberjaya first, while me and Won sleeping like pig :p At about 3:30pm, Dengz fetched us (Francis, Hanni, Won, Kenneth and I) to Nando’s. Then, Dengz sent Kenneth to KTM.

We’re back to KLI at 5:45pm, partly because I insisted to see Mike they all right before they went back to Croatia. The airport limousine will come to KLI to fetch them at 6pm. Dengz, Francis and Won went to GSH after dropping me and Hanni at KLI.

We found Mike, Miles, Laura and Ozzy at the hotel lobby. I talked with Miles and he still kept on putting up that smiley charming face. Ozzy handed me a souvenir, and also another one for Joanne. Hanni, Won and Francis had gotten their souvenirs in the morning.

Then, Mike walked over and say farewell to me. I really really feel like hugging him, but I had no guts after all :-<
Mike: “Hi, how are you? (Shaked my hand)”
Me: “Hi, I’m fine.”
Mike: “You guys are really nice to us. Do take care okay?! (wink at me)”
Me: “Okay, same to you. (smiling) Safe journey later.”
Mike: “Do come to Croatia and we’ll be your tour guide.”
Me: “Sure.”

Why am I just giving out those short answers?! Baka neh…b-(

It’s time to really say good bye. They went downstairs and we stayed there watching their back gone into the lift. *sad sad*
